STORYLINE
The Huskies go on the road for the third straight game on Sunday (Apr. 8) to take on the Jefferson Rams. This is the second straight non-conference game on the road for Bloomsburg. 
 
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 15thall-time meeting between Bloomsburg and Jefferson (formerly Philadelphia University). Bloomsburg leads the all-time series 12-2. 
 
LAST MEETING
The Huskies defeated the Rams 9-4 last season on Mar. 3, 2017 at Steph Pettit Stadium. Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) opened the scoring 33 seconds in, before Tori Wigand (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) put the Huskies up 2-0 just over five minutes in. Jefferson got on the board with a goal from Sarah von Lange before Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) scored at the 14-mnute mark and again with 4:13 to play in the half to send the Huskies to the break up 4-1. Kyne opened the scoring in the second half with her second of the game, before Jefferson got goals from Alyssa Matthews and Samantha Ryder. The Huskies would get both of those goals back and then some when Bloomsburg scored three in a row over a span of 11 minutes and change. Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield), Nikki Fisher (Warminster, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy) and Wigand would score in the run before Erin Eckert scored with under four minutes left for the Rams. Jaskuta would cap it off with a goal with four seconds left to secure the win. Jaskuta's hat trick led the offense, while Wigand and Kyne each scored twice. Gormley and Fisher each tallied one goal, while Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the way with two assists. Three others each contributed one assist in the win. The Huskies scooped up 32 ground balls in the win, with a team-high four by winning goalkeeper Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus). Four Huskies each picked up three ground balls in the win, while seven others collected two and two others grabbed one apiece. DiPasquale also recorded a team-high four caused turnovers in the win, while Julia Stauffer (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) and Jaskuta each caused two. Eight Huskies each caused one turnover in the win. DiPasquale made nine saves in the cage for the win. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg defeated Shepherd 12-9 in non-conference action on Thursday (Apr. 5). The Huskies drew first blood just 19 seconds in on Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley)'s sixth of the season from Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area). BU would double its lead less than three minutes into the game when Megan Smith (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) scored her seventh of the season unassisted, before Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) put the Huskies up 3-0 from from Jaskuta for her 18thof the season. Shepherd would score their first two goals just 24 seconds apart, making it 3-2 less than five minutes in. Just shy of nine minutes into the game, Gormley got in on the scoring with a woman-up goal assisted by Wozniak, her 21stof the season. Shepherd scored just 19 seconds later to get back within one goal. The two teams would trade goals evenly for the final 17 minutes of the half, with Bloomsburg leading 6-5 at the break. Bergman scored her second of the game from Kelleher with 17 minutes to play in the half, before Shepherd stayed within one with a goal 49 seconds later. Bloomsburg's final goal of the first half came on a free position goal from Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), her eighth of the season with 11:30 left. Shepherd would score with 3:39 left for their final goal of the half. BU led 6-5 at the break. The Huskies scored the first two goals of the second half, with the first coming just 40 seconds in from Jaskuta assisted by Wozniak. Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) scored her first of the game 1:01 into the second half unassisted, before Shepherd would score less than seven minutes in to get back within two. Jaskuta netted her second of the game with 18 minutes left off another assist from Wozniak to re-gain the three-goal lead for BU, before Shepherd would score the next two to get the game back within 9-8. Jaskuta would score her hat trick goal from Wozniak with seven and a half minutes to play, before Shepherd would score their final goal of the game with 4:42 to play. Rusen would score a woman-up goal from Jaskuta with 2:19 to play, before Jaskuta would put the victory on ice with her fourth of the game with 1:24 left.
 
Bloomsburg out-shot Shepherd 36-23 in the win, including 27-17 in shots on goal. Jaksuta paced the offense with a game-high four goals, her third game of the season with at least three goals. Bergman and Rusen each scored twice, while four other Huskies found the back of the net once. Wozniak led the team with four helpers, assisting on three of Jaskuta's four goals. Jaskuta also dished out three assists on the afternoon to total seven points, while Kelleher also recorded one assist in the win. Bloomsburg won the battle for ground balls 40-33, led by a game-high seven from Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus). Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) and Allison Bardman (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) each collected five, while Jaskuta picked up four. Rusen and Gormley grabbed three apiece, while four others scooped up two each and another five each grabbed one. BU caused 15 of Shepherd's 37 turnovers, led by three from Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area). Three players each caused two, while another six caused one each. Bloomsburg also won 14 draw controls to Shepherd's nine, with Bergman's five being a game-high. Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) snatched three in the win, while three others each recorded two. DiPasquale (7-3) got the win between the pipes, making eight saves. 
 
Jefferson beat Wilmington in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action back on Wednesday (Mar. 4). Wilmington scored the first goal just 1:25 into the game, before Samantha Ryder tied the game from Laura Dunne less than six minutes in. Wilmington would score their second goal seven minutes in, before the Rams went on a seven-goal run that spanned over the final 20 minutes of the half. Sarah von Lange scored from Camryn Sullivan at 22:46, before Kathryn Avanzato scored from von Lange at 19:49. Ryder would score from von Lange at 17:$1, before Dunne would score unassisted at 15:47. Avanzato would score unassisted just 15 seconds later, before Teagan Hay would score from Dunne with 7:32 left in the first half. The final goal of the run came unassisted from Sullivan with 1:36 left in the half. Wilmingotn would score their final goal of the first with 1:09 to play, Jefferson would take an 8-3 lead to the half. Erin Eckert scored the first goal of the second half on a free position shot three minutes in, before Wilmington scored two goals 10 seconds apart to make it 9-5. Jefferson scored the next two goals in 1:27 to get up 11-5. Ryder scored on a free position shot (20:29) before von Lange scored from Dunne at 19:02. Wilmington would score with 18 minutes left, before Jefferson would score their next three goals in 1:33. Sullivan unassisted (17:08), Eckert on a free position attempt (16:20) and Ryder unassisted (15:35) put Jefferson up 14-6. Wilmington scored with 14 and a half minutes to play, before Jefferson would score their final two goals of the game 1:09 apart. Ryder would score a woman-up free position goal with 7:25 to play before Dunne would score unassisted with 6:14 left. Wilmington would score the final three goals of the game, but Jefferson would hold on for the conference win. 
 
Jefferson out-shot Wilmington 43-21 in the win, including 31-15 in shots on goal. Ryder scored a game-high five goals in the win, while five other Rams each scored twice and Hay also scored once. Dune dished out a game-high three assists, while von Lange helped on two goals and Sullivan assisted on one goal. Jefferson won the battle for ground balls 28-20, with Erin Campbell collecting a game-high eight. Thre other Rams each scooped up three, while Dunne picked up two and another six players each registered one. Jefferson caused 20 of Wilmington's 36 turnovers, led by a game-high five from Campbell. Eckert caused four in the win while Katie Gallivan caused three and five others each caused one. Jefferson collected 13 draw controls to Wilmington's 15, led by five from Campbell. Eckert and von Lange each grabbed three, while Gallivan and Sullivan each snatched one. Victoria Aimondi made five saves in the win. 
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are sixth in the PSAC in scoring with an average of 13.55 goals per game, while allowing 11.59 goals per game. Rusen's 23 goals lead the team and are ninth in the conference individually, while Jaskuta and Gormley are both second on the team and 10thin the conference with 21. Kelleher is the only other Husky with double-digit goals on the season (18), while nine others have scored goals on the season for BU. Kelleher's 19 assists lead the team and are ninth in the conference, while Collins (10) is the only other Husky with at least 10 assists on the season. Kelleher's 37 points (18 G, 19 A) also lead the team and are seventh in the PSAC, while nine others have recorded at least 10 points on the season. The Huskies lead the conference in ground balls with 304, led by 45 from DiPasquale which is the fourth-highest total in the conference. Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) is 10thin the conference in ground balls with 27, while another 12 Huskies have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the year. BU also leads the conference in caused turnovers with 164, led by Diachynsky's 25 which is fifth in the league. Turner is also eighth in the league with 21, while Schappert is tied for ninth with 20. 16 others have caused at least one turnover on the season for BU. Bloomsburg is also fifth in the conference in draw controls with 132, led by Turner's 26 which are 10thin the conference. Bergman is right on her heels with 25, while Smith also has 20. 11 others have pulled down draw controls on the season for the Huskies. In the cage, DiPasquale has played all 612:51 in the cage, owning an 11.85 goals against average (GAA) and a .442 save percentage. Her 96 total saves are tied for fifth in the conference. 
 
SCOUTING JEFFERSON
Jefferson is fifth in the CACC in scoring averaging 9.63 goals per game, while allowing the fourth-lowest average of goals in the conference (15.00). Ryder and von Lange share the team lead in goals with 14, while Dunne and Sullivan have each scored 13 goals on the season. Avanzato has scored 10, Eckert has tallied nine and four others have each scored once on the season. Avanzato's 17 assists lead the team and are third in the CACC, while seven others have assisted on goals this season. Avanzato's 27 points (10 G, 17 A) lead the team and are tied for  14thin the conference, while Dunne is second on the team with 22 (13 G, nine A) and eight others have recorded points on the season for Jefferson. The Rams are sixth in the conference in ground balls with 159, led by 29 from Campbell who is fifth in the conference. Five others have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the season, while 11 others have picked up at least one. Jefferson is second in the CACC in caused turnovers with 98, led by von Lange who is third in the conference with 18. Campbell is second on the team and tied for fifth in the league with 15. Gallivan is also 10thin the conference in caused turnovers with 12. 11 others have caused turnovers on the season for Jefferson. Victoria Raimondi has played the majority of the minutes in cage for Jefferson, owning the best GAA in the conference at 12.83. Her .379 save percentage is seventh in the conference, while she is 10thin the conference in saves with 47.
