STORYLINE
The #7 Bloomsburg University women's soccer team looks to extend its winning streak to 12 games on Saturday afternoon when it travels to conference opponent Lock Haven University for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division bout with the Bald Eagles. The Huskies, ranked seventh in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, are 13-1 overall and 11-1 in conference play. The Bald Eagles, meanwhile, are 2-8-2 overall and 2-8-1 in the conference.

Bloomsburg leads the all-time series between the schools, 12-10-4. The Huskies have won four out of the last six matchups against Lock Haven including a 3-0 win earlier this season at Steph Pettit Stadium. Juniors

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies have won eleven straight and enter with 13 wins in their opening 14 matches of the season. Bloomsburg had no trouble with newly added conference opponent Shepherd University this past Saturday, defeating the Rams 5-0 on the road.Â

Bryce Watts (Etters, Pa./Red Land) rounded out the rest of the goals for the Huskies in the conference victory. Bloomsburg has now outscored its opponents by a 40-4 margin in the opening 14 matches of the year. Hoelke leads the team in scoring with eight goals along with seven assists good for 23 points on the season. Varano is second in scoring with eight goals and an assist good for 17 points whileÂ
Maggie McDonald (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac)Â comes third with four goals and three helpers for 11 points thus far this season. Hoelke and Varano's eight tallies on the year puts them in a tie for fourth in the PSAC in that category In goal,Â
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) has played all but 68 minutes and is 13-1 with a 0.37 goals against average and an .875 save percentage. She is first in the PSAC in goals against average, tied for first in shutouts (7), and second in save percentage.
SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
Lock Haven is 2-8-2 on the year and 2-8-1 in conference play. The Bald Eagles two wins came back on September 14 and October 12 against PSAC opponents Shippensburg and Mansfield. Marley Sprenkel leads Lock Haven in scoring with three goals on the season good for six points. Josie Swartz comes second in scoring with two goals and an assist for five total points this year. In goal, Karly Trillhaase has seen every minute of action this season and enters the match against the Huskies with a 2-8-2 overall record along with a 2.25 goals against average and a 0.685 save percentage. Trillhaase ranks in the top-10 in the conference in saves per game (4.85).
UP NEXT
The Huskies will return home to face PSAC foe Kutztown University on Wednesday, October 30 before heading to West Chester University to battle the Golden Rams on November 6. Start time against Kutztown is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Steph Pettit Stadium.
