THE STORY
• The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team returns home this Saturday morning to host Slippery Rock in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) clash at Steph Pettit Stadium. The Huskies have won three straight and sit tied for third in the PSAC with a 5-2 conference record (9-3 overall), while the Rock enters the contest at 4-4 in the PSAC, 5-6 overall.
SCHEDULE CHANGE
• Due to impending poor weather in the forecast, the start time of Saturday's contest has been moved up two hours and will not begin at 11:00 a.m. from Steph Pettit Stadium.
RELAY FOR LIFE
• Throughout Saturday's game, members of Bloomsburg women's lacrosse will be collecting donations to support the Relay For Life, which will take place at the Bloomsburg University Rec Center on April 27. A Table will be set up at the entrance to Steph Pettit Stadium prior to first draw.
THE HISTORY: BLOOMSBURG vs. SLIPPERY ROCK
• Bloomsburg leads the all-time series 16-10, but the Rock claimed a win in the two teams' only matchup last year, downing the Huskies 18-10 at home.
Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) had a pair of goals for the Huskies, while ShyAnne Toomer paced Slippery Rock with a game-high four goals. Bloomsburg's last win in the series came in April of 2017 at Steph Pettit Stadium.
THE 100 CLUB
• Tuesday's win over Lock Haven marked another highlight in senior
Hannah Jaskuta's (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) tremendous career at Bloomsburg, as the senior tallied four goals and assist, and became just the 15th player in team history to score 100 career goals. Jaskuta ranks 15th on the Huskies all-time points list with 139 on 103 goals and 36 assists, including 29 goals and 11 helpers this season. She is just seven goals away from passing Kim Springman (2007-10) for 14th on the all-time goals list, and 13 points from passing Marisa Moley (2012-15) on the career points list.

Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) tallied a career-high nine points on three goals and a career-high six assists to power the Huskies to an impressive 17-10 road victory at Lock Haven Wednesday afternoon. Jaskuta netted a game-high four goals and added an assist, while Bergman finished with four points on three goals and an assist.
Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was the fourth Bloomsburg player to notch a hat trick, finishing with three goals and a team-high five draws. Goalkeeper
Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) turned away nine shots in the complete game victory.
• Kelleher continued her torrid stretch since returning from an injury at the end of March with her nine points Tuesday. The redshirt sophomore has tallied 15 points in her last two games and leads Bloomsburg with 43 points (26 goals, 17 assists) on the year. Jaskuta has 40 points on a team-high 29 goals and 11 assists, while Bergman has 23 goals, five assists, and a team-high 40 draw controls. Dempsey has been tremendous on both sides of the ball this season, tallying 19 goals, six assists, 34 draws, 15 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers.
• Defense continues to be Bloomsburg's signature this season, as the Huskies lead the PSAC in caused turnovers (16.42) and ground balls (27.33) per game. Senior
Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) leads the PSAC in caused turnovers per game (2.75) and leads the Huskies in ground balls (36), while
Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) ranks fourth in the conference in caused turnovers (2.50) and has scooped up 30 ground balls.
Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) has 18 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls, while DiPasquale ranks second on the team in ground balls with 32. DiPasquale has been stellar in the net for Bloomsburg this season, ranking second in the PSAC in save percentage (.551) and fourth in goals against Average (GAA) at 8.35.
SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Slippery Rock outscored Edinboro 9-4 over the final 42 minutes en route to an 11-8 victory over the Fighting Scots Wednesday. With the win, the Rock improves to 5-6 overall, and 4-4 in the PSAC this season. Jordan Grey paced Slippery Rock with three goals, while Kelly Muenster had a goal and two assists. Katie Dlugosz and Tori Penders poured in two goals apiece. Goalkeeper Haley Barrett had 13 saves in the complete game victory.
• Slippery Rock is led on offense by ShyAnne Toomer, who has 25 points on 18 goals and seven assists this season. Emily Benham has 13 goals and five assists, while Penders has 11 goals, an assist, and a team-high 44 draw controls. The Rock has featured a deep offensive attack this season, as eight different players have tallied at least five goals on the year.
• Danie Porath ranks second in the PSAC in caused turnovers per game (2.73), while Toomer is 10th in the conference with 1.91 caused turnovers per game. Haley Barrett leads the team in ground balls (41), and has a 12.07 GAA and .417 save percentage in eleven starts between the pipes.
LOOKING AHEAD
• The Huskies will remain at home next Tuesday, April 16, to host defending PSAC Champion West Chester in a crucial PSAC showdown. The eighth-ranked Golden Rams are 10-2 overall and 6-1 in the PSAC this season. First Draw is set for 4:00 p.m.
