THE STORY
• The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team looks to capture its fifth consecutive victory and make a huge statement to the rest of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in a vital conference matchup with seventh-ranked West Chester University Tuesday afternoon. The Huskies are 10-3 overall and in third place in the PSAC with a 6-2 conference record, while the Golden Rams are 11-2 overall, and 7-1 in the PSAC.
THE HISTORY: BLOOMSBURG vs. WEST CHESTER
• The Golden Rams holding a commanding 40-7 all-time advantage over Bloomsburg, including a 21-6 victory over the Huskies in 2018. West Chester would go on to defeat Mercyhurst 17-12 in the PSAC Championship. The Golden Rams have claimed victory in the last three meetings between the teams, with the Huskies last triumph coming back on March 21, 2015.

Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) tallied a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists to power the Huskies to a 14-7 home win over Slippery Rock Saturday morning. It was Bloomsburg's fourth consecutive victory.
Erika Biehl (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) added three goals and three caused turnovers, while
Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley),
Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield), and
Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) all recorded a pair of goals. Goalkeeper
Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) turned away nine shots in the win.
GRACE ON FIRE
• Kelleher was sensational for the Huskies in a pair of wins over Slippery Rock and Lock Haven last week. In Wednesday's win at Lock Haven, Kelleher established career-highs in assists (6) and points (9) in the Huskies' 17-10 victory. She scored two goals and in the first half and added a single tally in the second half for her fifth hat trick of the season. Her six assists were the most by a BU player since Marisa Moley had six on March 28, 2015. Meanwhile, her nine points were the most by a BU player since Julie Falk set a school-record with 13 against Millersville on April 14, 2012. She followed up that performance with seven more points (four goals, three assists) in Bloomsburg's 14-7 home win over Slippery Rock. It was her sixth hat trick of the season. For the week, Kelleher had seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in just two games. She has taken over the PSAC lead in points per game (5.56) as she leads the Huskies with 30 goals and 20 assists (50 points) in nine games this season.
THE HUSKIES DEFENSE
• Defense continues to be Bloomsburg's signature this season, as the Huskies lead the PSAC in caused turnovers (16.54) and ground balls (27.31) per game. Senior
Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) leads the PSAC in caused turnovers per game (2.92) and leads the Huskies in ground balls (39), while
Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) ranks fifth in the conference in caused turnovers (2.38) and has scooped up 31 ground balls.
Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) has 19 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls, while
Lana Paulo (Washington Township, N.J./Washington Township) ranks second on the team in ground balls with 34. DiPasquale has been stellar in the net for Bloomsburg this season, ranking second in the PSAC in save percentage (.552) and fourth in goals against Average (GAA) at 8.23.
BLOOMSBURG ON OFFENSE
• In addition to Kelleher, the Huskies have been powered by Jaskuta, who leads Bloomsburg in goals scored (31) and adds 11 assists. Bergman has 25 goals, five assists, and a team-high 43 draw controls, while
Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) has 19 goals, six assists, 41 draws, 12 caused turnovers, and 18 ground balls.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN RAMS
• Seniors Ryan McKinney, Sami Barnett, and Maggie Stella all notched hat tricks as #7 West Chester cruised to a 17-2 win over Edinboro Saturday afternoon. McKinney and Barnett each added two assists for the Golden Rams, who have now won five straight following a heartbreaking 15-14 overtime loss to East Stroudsburg back on March 27.
• West Chester goalkeeper Julianne Clemens has started the bulk of the games for the Golden Rams and is 11-2 with a .463 save percentage and 7.01 goals against average. Nicole Martins has seen action in seven games, and leads the PSAC in goals against average (5.29).
• Tatum Altman leads the Golden Rams in total points with 47 on 20 goals and 27 assists, and ranks third in the PSAC in assists per game (2.25). McKinney has a team-high 34 goals and 4 assists, while Barnett has 33 goals and 13 assists. Stella has 28 goals and 13 helpers, while Tara Morrissey and Emily Schulze each have 20 goals on the year.
LOOKING AHEAD
• The Huskies hit the road following Tuesday's game for a pair of PSAC contests at IUP and East Stroudsburg next week, before returning home on April 27 to host Gannon. First draw with the Crimson Hawks this Saturday, April 20, is set for 2:00 p.m.
