INDIANA, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team finished fifth out of 17 teams at the Ed Fry Invitational hosted by IUP, Sunday afternoon. The Huskies compiled 64 points behind several career bests for the Huskies.

Sophomore
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) had a career-day on the track to lead the Huskies with a pair of personal-bests and two strong legs in the relays. Castronova won the 400-meter dash with a career-best time of 58.13 and ranked second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performance list. She also took sixth in the 200-meter dash with a personal-best time of 25.77, which is currently the eighth-best time in the PSAC.

Castronova then led the 4x100-meter relay team to a second-place finish with a time of 49.45. Castronova was joined by freshman
Melissa Sicinski (Fountainville, Pa./Pennridge), senior
Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), and senior
Natalia Konitzer (Bloomsburg, Pa./Marian Catholic) to turn in the team's best time in the race this season and the fifth-best time in the PSAC. The foursome then took fifth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:10.51, which is ninth overall in the conference.

A pair of runners scored for the Huskies in the 800-meter run as junior
Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) finished fourth overall with a time of 2:19.32 and senior
Jessica Brenfleck (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) took sixth overall with a career-best time of 2:20.75. Blair currently ranks fifth in the PSAC and Brenfleck is ninth.

The distance runners continued to impress for Bloomsburg as junior
Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) took fifth overall with a personal-best time of 4:58.17 in the 1,500-meter run, which is 10
th in the PSAC> Sophomore
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) finished seventh with a personal-best time of 18:37.27 in the 5,000-meter run and is currently ranked fifth in the conference.

In the field events, the Huskies collected five top-eight finishes. Junior
Sydney Sheaffer (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) led the way with a second-place jump of 1.60 meters (5' 3") in the high jump. The height was a personal-best for Sheaffer and places tied for fifth in the PSAC standings.

Ashley Blannard (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) took fourth in the long jump as she hit a distance of 5.44 meters (17' 10.25") and Stevenson jumped a distance of 5.28 meters (17' 4") to take seventh overall.

Freshman
Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) took third overall in the triple jump and is now eighth in the conference with a distance of 11.04 meters (36' 2.75"). Classmate
Molly Raville (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) took fourth overall in the javelin with a throw of 35.10 meters (115' 2").
