SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team had an impressive showing at the Shippensburg University Mid-Week Meet as they picked up three wins and 32 top-eight finishes, Wednesday afternoon.

Junior
Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) earned the first win of the day as she took first in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:47.71. That time is also the fourth-best time in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) this season. Sophomore
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) took fifth overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:02.06.

Blair, along with seniors
Natalia Konitzer (Bloomsburg, Pa./Marian Catholic),
Jessica Brenfleck (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), and
Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), won the 4x400-meter relay with a season-best time of 4:09.55 and is now ranked eighth in the conference standings.

Individually, the foursome had a strong day on the track as well. Konitzer took fourth in the 200-meter dash (27.36) and fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:01.33). Brenfleck finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.29 and is now ranked 15
th in the PSAC.

Melissa Sicinski (Fountainville, Pa./Pennridge) had a strong day in the sprints as she finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.65 and sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.11.

In the 800-meter run, senior
Autumn Avery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) finished fifth overall with a time of 2:24.85 while junior
Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) took sixth overall with a time of 2:25.39.

Sophomore
Sarah Bubeck (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) ran the 100-meter hurdles for the first time this season and finished sixth overall with a time of 17.41. Freshman
Lexi Kirk (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.83 and freshman
Julia Magee (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) finished seventh with a time of 1:17.00.

In the field events, junior
Ashley Blannard (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) had a terrific day in the jumps. Blannard won the triple jump with a distance of 11.40 meters (37' 5") and is now ranked second in the PSAC. Blannard also finished second in the long jump with a personal-best jump of 5.70 meters (18' 8.5") and is now fourth in the PSAC.

Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) continues to make her mark in her first outdoor season as she took second overall with a jump of 11.06 meters (36' 3.5") in the triple jump (eighth in the PSAC) and third in the long jump with a distance of 5.44 meters (17' 10.25"), which is sixth in the PSAC.

Sydney Beaverson (York, Pa./Red Lion) took sixth overall with a distance of 10.29 meters (33' 9.25").

Emilee Wasilewski (Kulpmont, Pa./Mount Carmel Area) took fifth overall in the triple jump with a distance of 10.66 meters (34' 11.75"), which is 12
th in the PSAC and finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 4.96 meters (16' 3.25").

Sydney Sheaffer (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) tied her career-best with a height of 1.60 meters (5' 3") and finished second overall. Junior
Erin Rottloff (Bensalem, Pa./Conwell-Egan) took seventh in the event with a jump of 1.45 meters (4' 9").

Sydney Derr (Fogelsville, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) had an impressive jump of 2.90 meters (9' 6.25") in the pole vault and finished third overall with freshman
Jessica Teleguz (Leola, Pa./Conestoga Valley) competed in the event for the first time this season and took sixth overall with a jump of 2.45 meters (8' 0.5").

Kendra Yeboah's (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland) fourth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 10.70 meters (35' 1.25"). Sophomore
Becca Avery (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) took fifth in the hammer with a PR of 40.12 meters (131' 7") and eighth in the shot put with a throw of 9.84 meters (32' 3.5").

The Huskies are sending a pair of athletes to the Mike Cowal Combined Event Meet on Thursday, April 15 and Friday, April 16. The entire team is scheduled to compete in the East Stroudsburg All-American Meet on Saturday, April 17.
