EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team had another strong showing at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Invitational/Open Meet, Saturday, as the Huskies collected 23 top-eight finishes, including four event victories.
Junior
Ashley Blannard (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) earned a pair of wins for the Huskies in field events as she took the crown in the long jump and the triple jump. In the long jump, Blannard's jump of 5.54 meters (18' 2.25") earned her first place while her jump of 11.05 meters (36' 3") in the triple jump won the event for her.
On the track, junior
Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) led a strong pack of Huskies in the 800-meter run as she won with a time of 2:18.16. That time is now the fifth-best in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Brenfleck took second overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.60 while freshman
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) rounded-out the top three for BU with a third-place finish and personal-best time of 2:24.89. Senior
Autumn Avery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) took fifth overall in the race with a time of 2:27.43.

Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) won the 4x400-meter relay with a season-best time of 4:04.77.
Individually, Castronova took second overall with a time of 59.43 in the 400-meter dash. Sophomore
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) picked up a second-place finish as well in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:57.40.

Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) took fourth overall with a time of 4:59.10 in the 1,500-meter run while sophomore
Emma Fortune (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M. Coughlin) took fifth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:29.98. Freshman
Gabrielle Wetzel (Manchester Township, NJ/Manchester Township) ran to a fifth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:24.85.
Sophomore
Sarah Bubeck (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) took seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.42 and freshman
Lexi Kirk (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.91.
Sophomore
Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) earned a pair of podium spots for the Huskies as she took eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.31 and third in the long jump with a distance of 5.13 meters (16' 10").
Rounding out the three podium spots for the Huskies in the long jump was freshman
Lauryn Male (Pen Argyl, Pa./Pen Argyl) who took seventh overall with a jump of 4.45 meters (14' 7.25").

Emilee Wasilewski (Kulpmont, Pa./Mount Carmel Area) took second with a distance of 10.48 meters (34' 4.75") and freshman
Carly Fogal (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) took seventh with a jump of 9.50 meters (31' 2").
Bloomsburg claimed two of the top-eight spots in the high jump as junior
Sydney Sheaffer (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) cleared a height of 1.57 meters (5' 1.75") for fourth overall and junior
Erin Rottloff (Bensalem, Pa./Conwell-Egan) took eighth with a jump of 1.42 meters (4' 7.75").
Sophomore
Molly Raville (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) claimed second overall with a throw of 32.76 meters (107' 6") and sophomore
Sydney Derr (Fogelsville, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) claimed fourth in the pole vault with a jump of 2.90 meters (9' 6.25").
Sophomore
Makayla Force (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) finished seventh overall with a throw of 32.90 meters (107' 11") in the discus for the Huskies.
The Huskies are scheduled to host the Maroon and Gold Invitational next Friday, April 23 before heading to the Lock Haven Qualifier meet on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1. The PSAC Outdoor Championships are scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 6.
