SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Junior
Ashley Blannard (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) earned the first all-conference honors of the weekend for the Bloomsburg University women's track and field team at the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Friday afternoon. Blannard took third overall in the long jump after a weather delay between the opening rounds and the finals.

Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), and sophomore
Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) earned a spot in the long jump finals but had to wait out sideways rain and lightning to compete in the finals. Blannard finished third overall and earned all-conference honors with a jump of 5.67 meters. Stevenson earned a spot on the podium as well as she took sixth with a jump of 5.35 meters. Hosey just missed on a podium spot as she took ninth with a distance of 5.24 meters while the eighth-place finisher hit 5.25 meters.

Lauren O'Malley (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) kicked off the day for the Huskies with a 12
th-place finish in the heptathlon with a personal-best 3338 points. O'Malley opened the day with a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 4.66 meters before taking 10
th in the javelin with a throw of 24.73 meters. She finished the multis event with a ninth-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:42.38.

Melissa Sicinski (Fountainville, Pa./Pennridge),
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley),
Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Sydney Beaverson (York, Pa./Red Lion) qualified for the finals in the 4x100-meter relay as they finished seventh overall with a time of 49.52.

Castronova impressed in the prelims of the 400-meter dash as she won her heat and finishe first overall with a personal-best time of 57.15 to solidify her spot in the finals on Saturday. Castronova will also run in the finals of the 200-meter dash tomorrow as the prelims were cancelled due to weather on Friday. Saturday's race will be a timed-finals.

Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) posted a huge personal-record in the prelims of the 800-meter run as she took second in her heat and second overall with a time of 2:15.00 and qualified for Saturday's finals.

The Huskies are currently 11
th with nine team points but are poised to move up in the standings on Saturday.

Freshman
Molly Raville (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) will open the day for the Huskies tomorrow in the javelin at 11:00 am while the 4x100-meter relay team will open the final day on the track of the PSAC Outdoor Championships. The relay is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm.
