MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team fell to Millersville University 90-62 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East tilt, Saturday afternoon. The Huskies dropped to 3-8 on the year and 2-5 in conference play, while the Marauders improved to 11-4 and 5-4 in PSAC play.

Justin Anderson (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) led the team with 17 points, while
Travis Elmore (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) chipped in 12.
Jake Nelson (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Rustin) added eight points and a team-best eight rebounds.
Justin Rodriguez (Easton, Pa./Morristown-Beard) paced the team with three assists, steals, four rebounds, and four points.

As a team, the Huskies were 24-for-61 for the game (39.3%) from the floor and were just 3-for-14 from the three-point range. Bloomsburg finished the day 9-for-19 from the free-throw line.

The Marauders shot a season-best 67.3% (35-for-52) from the floor and were 10-of-16 (62.5%) from the three-point range. Millersville was just 12-for-23 from the free-throw line (52.2%).

James Sullivan led the Marauders with 21 points and was one of five players for MU to hit double figures. Caden Najdawi chipped in 15 while Jaden Faulkner added 12. Ryan Davis had 10 points and led the team with eight rebounds, while Drew Stover had 10 points.

Elmore made the first basket of the game as he grabbed an offensive board and went back up with it just 24 seconds into the action. Faulkner answered with a layup on the other end f the court to tie the game at 2-2, and Najdawi gave the Marauders the lead for good at the 18:35 mark with a dunk.

The Huskies kept the score with five and pulled to within two thanks to a traditional three-point play from
Hunter Healy (Quakertown PA/Bishop McDevitt) at the 13:14 mark. With 7:51 to play in the first half, Sullivan hit a jumper to give the Marauders a 10-point advantage, 29-19. A layup by
Ash Kemble (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County) cut the lead back to single digits, 32-23, with 4:30 to play, but the Marauders used a 9-2 run to close out the half and take a 41-25 lead into halftime.

The Huskies cut the lead back down to 12, 47-35, with a three from Healy at the 16:14 mark, but that would prove to be as close as the Huskies could get to Millersville. The Marauders used four quick unanswered points to take a 24-point advantage, 61-37, and maintained a 20-point lead for the rest of the game.

Torrence Kaleb made a layup in the final 49 seconds to seal the 92-60 win.

On Monday, the Huskies look to rebound as they open a four-game home stand against Mansfield University. The opening tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm at Nelson Field House.
