WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's swimming team posted several Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying times and impressed at a very fast meet with West Chester and Lehigh, Saturday.

The 400-yard medley relay team of
Grace Beierschmitt (Dover, Pa./Dover),
Taleah Ruben (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville),
Maggie Shaffer (East Petersburg, PA/Hempfield), and
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, PA/Wilson High School) opened the day with a time of 4:03.68 to take fourth overall.
Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown),
Katie Eisenhofer (Reading, PA/Schuylkill Valley),
Courtney Hubric (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin), and
Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) finished eighth with a time of 4:11.79.

Osanitsch took eighth in the 200-yard freestyle with a PSAC time of 2:00.70. Ali Lehman finished sixth in the 100-yard backstroke with a PSAC time of 1:02.44.

The Huskies picked up two top-eight finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke as
Anna Sugra (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) finished fifth with a PSAC qualifying time of 1:10.12 while
Julia Riegel (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks South) took eighth after touching the wall at 1:11.02.

Tara Kupsky (Bear Creek Township, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) took seventh in the 200-yard fly with a PSAC time of 2:15.18.

Bloomsburg had a terrific 50-yard freestyle as
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, PA/Wilson High School) finished second with a PSAC time of 24.71 while Hubric took fifth with a PSAC time of 24.81. Beierschmitt finished in the top-eight as she touched the wall at 25.23 to finish seventh overall.
Sydney Lloyd (Nescopeck, Pa./Berwick) took 11
th with a PSAC time of 25.62.

Wenzel has the second-fastest time in the 100-yard free as she took third overall with a time of 53.53. Shaffer finished just outside the top-eight in the 100 free as she touched the wall at 56.64 for a ninth-place finish.

The Huskies grabbed a pair of top-eight finishes in the 200-yard backstroke as Osanitsch took seventh with a PSAC time of 2:13.45 and Walsh took eighth with a PSAC-time of 2:13.48.

Sugra led a pack of Huskies in the 200-yard breaststroke as she took fifth with a time of 2:32.30. Kupsky finished seveth with a PSAC time of 2:34.59 and
Taleah Ruben (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) finished eighth with a PSAC time of 2:36.26.

Katie Sharkey (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) finished eighth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:34.43.

Shaffer took seventh in the 1000-yard fly with a PSAC time of 1:01.05 while Beierschmitt finished just outside the top-eight with a ninth-place finish at 1:01.33.

Kupsky finished just outside the top-eight in the 400-yard IM with a PSAC qualifying time of 4:54.24 and
Catie Strayer (York, PA/Central York) finished 10
th with a PSAC time of 4:58.85.

Wenzel, Lloyd, Beierschmitt, and Hubric finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay while Eisenhofer, Lehman, Sugra, and Osanitsch finished seventh at 1:44.20.

After two weeks off, the Huskies will get back in the pool on Friday. November 4 when they host Millersville and Edinboro for a PSAC tri-meet at the Nelson Field House Pool beginning at 5:00 p.m.
