READING, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's and women's track and field teams continued to impress at the Plex Shootout, hosted by Alvernia University, Saturday afternoon. The Huskies record four next Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying times as well as several top-10 finishes.

The 1-mile run highlighted several performances for the Huskies as
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) and Brayden Grahahm qualified for the PSAC meet while
Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois), Jaime Diedel, and
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) added their names to the list as well.

Bailey finished fourth with a time of 4:26.93 while Graham took 11
th overall at 4:31.61 to earn a spot in the PSAC championship meet. On the women's side, Blair won the event with a time of 5:12.64. Diedel took fifth overall at 5:25.30 and Dumond took eighth with a time of 5:28.09.

Blair also won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.21, a PSAC qualifying time.
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) added her name to event winner list as she won the 400-meter dash with a PSAC-qualifying time of 59.87.
Delaney Porter (Pen Argyl, Pa./Penn Argyl Area) finished second overall with a PSAC time of 59.89.
Megan Gambogi () took seventh at 1:02.83 and
Phoebe Patterson () took ninth at 1:03.24.

Senior
Tyreem Welton (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) took fourth overall in the 60-meter dash at 7.24 while
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) won the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.75.
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) took second overall at 51.95 in the 400.

Senior Christopher McCormick took third overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.66.

The 4x200-meter relay team of
Marco Olmedo (Norristown, Pa./Norristown Area ),
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School),
Silas Wagaman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro), and Welton finished eighth overall at 1:37.36 while the 4x400-meter relay team of Bailey,
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), Dowell, and Wilson took second at 3:30.15. McCormick,
Stephen Suwala (/),
Liam Grayson (/), and
Richard Loughran (/) finished sixth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:46.47.

Walsh then took seventh overall in the long jump with a distance of 6.26 meters while
Michael Makowski (Marion Heights, Pa./Mount Carmel Area) finished fourth with a throw of 13.62 meters in the weight throw.

On the women's side,
Gabrielle Wetzel (Manchester Township, NJ/Manchester Township) finished seventh overall in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:16.11. The 4x200-meter relay team of
Melissa Sicinski (Fountainville, Pa./Pennridge),
Sydney Beaverson (York, Pa./Red Lion), Alexia Kirk, and Yamiet Ferrufino finished eighth overall with a time of 1:55.96 while the 4x400-meter relay team of Castronova, Porter, Patterson, and Blair took second overall at 4:09.63.

Sydney Sheaffer (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata High School) hit a PSAC mark in the high jump as she took second overall and cleared 1.58 meters while
Isabella Horvath (Cresco, PA /Pocono Mountain East High School) took fifth with a jump of 1.50 meters.

Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) finished second overall in the long jump with a PSAC mark of 5.30 meters and
Lauren O'Malley (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) took eighth overall at 4.86 meters.
Carly Fogal (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) took sixth in the triple jump at 10.32 meters and Beaverson finished seventh with a distance of 10.30 meters.

Madison Baudille (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) took seventh overall in the women's shot put with a throw of 9.48 meters to round out the top-10 finishers for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg returns to the track next weekend at the Fast Track Invitational on Friday, February 11 in Staten Island before heading to the SU Invitational in Selinsgrove, PA on Saturday, February 12.
