BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University wrestling team rolled to a pair of wins on Sacred Heart University and York College (PA), Sunday afternoon. The Huskies kicked off the day with a 36-6 win over Sacred Heart before defeating York, 37-9.
 
Bronson Garber (Millersburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) picked up a pair of wins for the Huskies at 125 pounds as he posted a 12-6 decision over Sacred Heart and a 9-4 decision over York (PA). Junior Cole Rhone (Benton, Pa./Benton Area) had a stellar day on the mat for the Huskies as he picked up a pair of pins late in his matches at 133. Rhone pinned Kyle Randall of Sacred Heart at 6:21 and pinned Wilfred Jimenez of York at 5:56.
 
Redshirt junior Josh Mason (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) got another pair of pins as well at 141 pounds as he pushed his season total to 11. Mason pinned Chris Naegele of Sacred Heart at 2:01 and Tyler McDuffy of York at 2:31. Ten of Mason's 11 pins this season have come in the first period.
 
Senior Alex Carida (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) earned a pair of wins as well at 157 as he needed an extra period to defeat Nicholas Palumbo of Sacred Heart 3-1 but cruised to a 12-2 major decision over #5 (DIII) Eric Hutchinson of York. Sophomore Trenton Harder (Gardners, Pa./Bermudian Springs) posted a pair of hard-fought wins at 165 pounds as he came away with a 8-3 decision over Brandon Teresa of Sacred Heart and rallied for a 10-8 decision over Timothy Sparks of York.
 
Bruno Stolfi (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) posted a pair of pins for the Huskies at 184 pounds as he got the fall at 2:16 over Alex Mariniak of Sacred Heart and the fall at 3:50 over Jake Hipps of York. Shane Noonan (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton Area) collected a pair of bonus point wins for the Huskies in the heavy weight bouts as he started his day with a pin at 3:22 over Nicholas Copley of Sacred Heart before capping the day with a 16-2 major decision over Brock Hofler of York.
 
Freshman Cade Balestrini (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy) got a fall over Samual Mazzella of York at 5:12 as he went 1-1 on the day at 149 pounds while Matt Benedetti (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) earned a 2-0 decision over Joe Sacco of Sacred Heart in the 174-pound bout.
