SELINGSGROVE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's and women's track and field teams started the new year strong as the Huskies picked up four new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks and won seven events at the River Hawk Invite, Saturday.

On the women's side, sophomore
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) took second overall in the mile at 5:19.92 to earn a spot at the PSAC Indoor Championships. Freshman
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) qualified for the PSAC championships after taking third overall with a time of 5:20.29. Sophomore
Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) finished fourth overall with her PSAC qualifying time of 5:25.63.

For the men,
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) won the mile with a PSAC qualifying time of 4:22.39.

The men won two more events as
Aidan Skinner (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove),
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove), and
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) won the distance medley relay with a time of 11:10.70. The time is currently the second-fastest in the PSAC.

Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township), and
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:34.56, the eighth-best time in the conference this season.

Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley),
Delaney Porter (Pen Argyl, Pa./Penn Argyl Area),
Megan Gambogi (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), and
Kelsie Robinson (Media, Pa./Penncrest High School) won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:15.59. The foursome hold the second-fastest time in the PSAC this season, 4:09.22, that they set at the Bison Opener on December 2.

Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy), Gambogi, Robinson, and Dumond won the DMR with a time of 13:13.19. The foursome is currently the only ranked time in the PSAC this season.

Freshman
Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) won the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:28.92. She is currently sixth in the PSAC and trailing the conference leader by just four seconds.

Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) won the long jump with a distance of 5.32 meters, a PSAC qualifying mark. Hosey is currently ranked fourth in the conference with a jump of 5.52 meters, which she set at the Bison Opener on December 2.

The Huskies take on the Gulden Invitational next Saturday, January 21, hosted by Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.
