FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's golf team sits sixth place after shooting a 62-over 342 in the opening round of the Kutztown Invitational at Moselem Springs Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
Noemi Krizso (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) recorded the top score for the Huskies, carding a 13-over 83 with a birdie on the par-three 15th.
Grace Green (Shadyside, Ohio/Shadyside High School) and
Olivia Martinez (Bellevue, Ohio/Bellevue) sit in a tie for 20th after finishing day one 16-over par (86).
Julia Zonca (Newton, N.J./Newton High School) recorded a 17-over 87 to finish the day tied for 23rd. Her round featured a birdie on the par-five seventh hole.
Ryleigh Faust (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) posted a 21-over 91 and is in 29th place after the opening round.
Women's golf returns to Moselem Springs Golf Club at 11 a.m. for day two of the Kutztown Invitational.
