LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Bloomsburg men's cross country team finished 15th at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championships Saturday morning.
How It Happened:
Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) led the Huskies on the day with a career-best time of 31:56.9 in the 10K. Riley took 42nd place in the race for the best score in the morning for Bloomsburg. Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) finished a couple spots behind in 53rd as the Huskies' second-highest finisher in a time of 32:09.1. The mark at the regional meet was the senior's best run of his collegiate tenure.
Tyler Shunk (Fredericksburg, Pa./Northern Lebanon) was the third Bloomsburg athlete among the top-100 runners, crossing the line in a time of 33:17.0 for a personal-best for the freshman. Sophomore Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was fourth to reach the tape for the Huskies in a career-best effort at 33:31.0.
Rich Loughran (Ottsville, Pa./Pennridge), Ellis Aikey (/) and Braeden Arnold (/) each finished Saturday's race with personal-best times. Loughran crossed the line in 34:11.3 as the final point-scorer for Bloomsburg on the day. In their first NCAA Regional races, Aikey finished in 34:29.0 and Arnold reached the line at 35:25.4.

The NCAA Regional was the final of the 2024 season for the Bloomsburg men's cross country team, barring an at-large bid.
