BEDFORD SPRINGS, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team sits in fourth place after day one of the Pitt-Johnstown Bedford Springs Invitational, shooting a team score of 317 (+29) in Monday's opening round.

Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) posted a six-over par 78 in the opening round and sits in a four-way tie for 11th. After going six over on the front nine, a pair of birdies led to an even scorecard on the back nine.

Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) and
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) are a part of a four-way tie for 15th with opening-round scores of 79 (+7). Pulcinella recorded three birdies on the front nine while Bush went two over on the front with one birdie.

A pair of back-nine birdies highlighted
Luca Neally's (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) round as he sits tied for 19th after a nine-over 81.

Jake Taylor (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone Area) shot an 84 (+12) in the opening round. He posted back-to-back birdies on the par-five third and par-three fourth to go one-under on the front.
