LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Sophomore Logan Savage (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Wood) takes home the final PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week award of the season Monday afternoon. 

The week began with a 2-0 victory for Bloomsburg over Goldey-Beacom in the team's final nonconference game of the season. Savage joined in on the scoring, finding the back of the net for the team's second to add insurance to the final scoreline. The sophomore also helped the Huskies secure their ninth shutout of the season.

Savage additionally helped Bloomsburg get a much-needed result in a must-win game. The Huskies came away with a 2-1 victory against Shepherd. The win proved to be enough in securing a spot in the PSAC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.

The Huskies have now taken home five East Defensive Athlete of the Week awards and have amassed six weekly accolades from the conference this season.
