INDIANAPOLIS - The Bloomsburg men's soccer team sits as the No. 11 team in Super Region 1 following the latest release of the NCAA Regional Rankings on Wednesday afternoon.

The Huskies possess a 10-2-6 record, as the team is in the thick of a PSAC Tournament run. Only the team's regular-season games were counted as part of the latest set of rankings. Bloomsburg has several streaks on the line, as the Huskies are looking to make their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Bloomsburg won its first NCAA Tournament game in program history in 2023 and hosted the first NCAA Tournament match at Steph Pettit Stadium in 2024.

With their current position in the region, the Huskies focus must remain on what lies ahead in the PSAC Tournament. With a win in the team's regular-season finale, Bloomsburg qualified for its fourth consecutive PSAC Tournament under head coach Mark Bassett. The Huskies are seeking to defend their conference title, won on the grounds of Steph Pettit Stadium in 2024, as the No. 3 seed from the Eastern Division.

Bloomsburg's PSAC Tournament began with dramatics in the quarterfinal round, a 1-0 victory on the road at Seton Hill in extra time. A competitive 90 minutes was not enough time to allow for the first goal of the match to be conceded, leading to a golden goal scenario in overtime. The hero for the Huskies on Monday was Zach Morales (Orefield, Pa./Parkland). The senior was able to take advantage of a misplay by a Griffins defender and collect the ball. Moving to his right, Morales squared up a clutch finish to beat Seton HIll's goalkeeper and send Bloomsburg on to the semifinals.

The Huskies have been a squad heavily reliant on their defense in 2025. Bloomsburg boasts a top-five goals against average in Division II at .500 and has the eighth-best shutout percentage at .556.

The Huskies go from one conference tournament road trip to the next, as Bloomsburg returns out West on Friday, November 14, at 5:00 p.m. to take on East rival and No. 1 seed, Millersville, at McConnell Family Stadium in Erie, Pa., hosted by West No. 1 seed, Gannon.
