MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The Bloomsburg field hockey team had 10 players named to the 2024 NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad as released by the association on Thursday.
The NFHCA proudly recognizes nearly 430 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from more than 30 institutions on the 2024 Division II National Academic Squad.

National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
East Stroudsburg paced the Division II pack with 21 selections, while Newberry College landed 19 student-athletes on the list.
Impressively, 59 honorees earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year.

Bella Culp (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin),
Kate Ferguson (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township),
Alyxandra Flick (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia),
Raegan Iasiello (Northampton, Pa./Northampton),
Kendall Iasiello (Northampton, Pa./Northampton),
Kara Koch (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area),
Aydan McFarland (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area),
Lillie Weaver (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin), and
Reagan Wiest (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) earned the honor for the Huskies while Culp and Weaver were among the 59 honorees with their fourth-straight distinction.
Ferguson, Flick, McFarland, and Wiest are repeat honorees as well.
The Huskies finished the season with a 15-6 overall record and a 6-3 slate in the PSAC. Bloomsburg advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 and were ranked as high as #4 by the NFHCA in its weekly coaches' poll.
