YORK, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team ended the 2025 PSAC Swimming Championships in record-breaking fashion to take second overall with 1,052 team points.
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) and the 400-yard freestyle relay team earned two more gold medals for the Huskies while breaking school records in the process.

Wenzel won the first medal of the day for the Huskies as she defended her crown in the 100-yard freestyle. The senior finished first in the prelims in the morning with a time of 50.99. Wenzel left no doubt as she dominated the race with a time of 50.10 to win by 1.04. The 50.10 drops Wenzel's NCAA B Cut time and the school record time by .07. She has the 12
th fastest time in the event this season.
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) took third overall with a time of 51.22 and
Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western) finished fourth at 51.35, but NCAA 'B' Cut times.

The morning session ended with the first few timed finals of the 1,650-yard freestyle.
Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) swam an 18:33.90 to finish 13
th overall.Â
Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) took part in the final time finals in the evening session and took eighth overall with a time of 17:52.90.

Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) took fourth in the A Finals of the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.45 while
Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) finished fifth at 2:05.54.
Catie Strayer (York, Pa./Central York) finished eighth in the C Finals with a time of 2:16.65.

Taleah Ruben (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) posted a career-best time of 2:26.74 to take second in the B Finals of the 200-yard breaststroke and had a career-best swim of 2:26.91 to take fourth in the B Finals.
Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) took eighth in those same finals with a time of 2:29.20.

Sadie Ludwick (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) finished third in the C Finals of the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.70.

The Huskies finished the meet with fireworks as the 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway), Osanitsch, Cunningham, and Wenzel not only won the relay by 1.64, but broke the school record in the process with a time of 3:25.46. Holmes opened the race with a 51.56 split in the first 100 to get the Huskies out on top while Osanitsch swam a 53.53 in the second leg. Cunningham posted a 50.69 in the third 100 to pull the Huskies back ahead and Wenzel closed out the race with a 49.68 anchor leg for the win.

Wenzel, Cunningham, and Holmes all have B cuts for the 100 and 50 yard free while Wenzel has an NCAA B cut for the 100-yard butterfly. The trio awaits the announcement of the field for the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming Championships.
