BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg wrestling team dropped its MAC regular season finale to Edinboro, 44-5, Friday evening at Nelson Field House.
 
The Fighting Scots picked up bonus point wins in the first four matches before junior William Morrow (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) got the Huskies on the board. Morrow got an early takedown over Colin Roberts at 157-pounds to take an early 3-0 lead. After a caution was called against Roberts, Morrow ended the first period with back-to-back four count near falls. Roberts deferred the choice to start the second and Morrow chose bottom. The junior got a quick escape and takedown for the 15-0 lead and tech fall just 19 seconds into the second period. Morrow secured the riding time point for the 16-0 win.
 
Nick Foster had a late take down in the first period at 184 pounds but Hunter Hutcheson got the escape to cut the lead to 3-1. Foster deferred the choice and Hutcheson used the bottom choice to get an escape and a penalty point tied the match at 3-3. Hutcheson got a takedown near the end of the second for the 6-3 lead after two periods. Foster had a reversal midway through the third period to cut the lead to one, 6-5, but Hutcheson squeaked out an escape to seal the 7-5 decision.
