BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Senior Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) looks to cap her illustrious career with the Bloomsburg swimming team at the 2025 NCAA Championships, beginning Wednesday morning. Joining Wenzel at the championships is the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway), Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western), Sidney Beers (DeBois, Pa./DuBois Area) who won the event at the PSAC Championships in school record-breaking fashion.
 
Wenzel earned a spot at the 2025 NCAA Swimming Championships in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle. The senior had her fastest times of the season at the PSAC Championships as she won both the events for the second-straight season.
 
The senior won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.97 and is just .05 off her school record time from 2024. Wenzel's time is 14^th best in the NCAA DII this season and is .12 off the eighth-best time heading into the NCAA Championships. She holds the fastest time this season in the PSAC.  Wenzel will take on the 50-yard free on Wednesday, the second day of the NCAA Championships.
 
Wenzel gets back in the pool for her second solo swim on Saturday as she competes in the 100-yard freestyle. She broke the school record with her first-place swim at the PSAC Championships with a time of 50.10, .07 faster than her previous school record. Wenzel ranks 14^th in the NCAA DII in the 100-yard free as well and is .14 off of the eighth best time this season.
 
Wenzel will join her teammates on Friday in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team won the event at the PSAC Championships Tuesday night before getting back in the pool Wednesday for a time trial to try for their NCAA mark. The four blew the Bloomsburg school record out of the water at 1:33.21. The Huskies have the overall 15^th best time in the NCAA DII this season.
