CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2024-25 Wrestling Academic All-MAC Team on Monday, featuring a total of 75 student-athletes from the conference's 13 teams. Three Bloomsburg wrestling team members earned the honor as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Kolby Flank (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area),
Major Lewis (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity), and
William Morrow (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) were named to the Wrestling Academic All-MAC team for the first time in their careers.
Kent State led the way with 12 student-athletes on this year's team, followed by Cleveland State with 10, and both Ohio and George Mason with eight student-athletes represented.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season only are considered.
Flank is a senior economic major with a 3.22 GPA while Lewis is a sophomore marketing major with a 3.43 GPA. Morrow is a junior finance major with a 3.76 GPA.
Morrow was also an NWCA Scholar All-American and a CSC Academic All-District honoree in 2024.
