GREENWOOD, Ind. – Six Bloomsburg women student-athletes have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large honors as announced on Tuesday afternoon. The six Huskies represent three different sports as
Aydan McFarland (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area),
Bella Culp (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin) and
Lillie Weaver (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) from field hockey,
Mia Boccippio (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and
Sophia Zelasko (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) from lacrosse and
Ryleigh Faust (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) from women's golf all received accolades from CSC.

McFarland, a professional sales and marketing major with a 3.75 GPA, earned her first CSC Academic All-District nod after amassing an impressive 51 points with 21 goals for the Huskies this season. The forward finished the season as an NFHCA First Team All-American and a PSAC First Team selection.

Culp picked up her second CSC Academic All-District At-Large selection with a 3.97 GPA as a professional sales and marketing major. The Dauphin native netted one goal and six assists from the midfield last season. Culp claimed NFHCA Scholar of Distinction honors for the fourth straight season.

A speech-language pathology major with a 3.98 GPA, Weaver landed a spot on the CSC Academic All-District team after serving as a key piece of the Huskies defense. The Hummelstown native was credited with one defensive save while helping the maroon and gold to finish with a 1.31 goals against average on the year.

Mia Boccippio (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough), a finance major with a 3.81 GPA, received her first Academic All-District nod after finishing third on the team in goals with 27. The attacker notched 31 points on the year and recorded a .643 shooting percentage.

Sophia Zelasko (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) earned a 3.80 GPA as an elementary education major and claimed her first Academic All-District distinction. The midfielder netted one goal for the Huskies this season.

Faust finished her collegiate career on a high note, both on the golf course and in the class room. The Lewisburg native recorded the program's best finish at the PSAC Championships in ninth before she received her MBA with a 3.75 GPA. Faust is the Bloomsburg record holder for total rounds played with 66.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
