BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Tyler J. Horst Memorial Foundation and Bloomsburg athletics have come together to host the Third Annual
5K run & 1-mile walk for the students and community to celebrate the life of BU Football Alumni player, Tyler Horst. In Tyler's memory, the race aims to bring the community together while raising funds for the
Tyler Horst Nutritional Center. The race is set for Sunday, August 24, 2025 and will begin at 9:00 a.m. from Redman Stadium in the Pettit Athletic Complex on the Bloomsburg campus

Registration is open to anyone and the registration fee of $20 can be paid by mail or Venmo; $20 (+fee) online, or through the official race registration page.

Bloomsburg athletic teams are encouraged to participate as there is an award for the most participants for a male and female team.
Competition 5K Awards:
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place fastest MALE participant
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place fastest FEMALE participant
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place to the team with the MOST participants (male team)
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place to the team with the MOST participants (female team)
Each award will be presented to a representative from each winning team.
