LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After posting five goals in two games this past week,
Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) was tabbed as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Hockey Athlete of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

The junior posted an impressive five goals as the Huskies went 2-0 on the week with victories over Pace and Mercy. Bush netted a pair of goals in Bloomsburg's home opener on Wednesday afternoon as the maroon and gold defeated Pace 3-0. Against Mercy on Sunday, the Boiling Springs-native recorded her first career hat-trick in the Huskies' 10-1 victory over the Mavericks.

The forward currently leads the NCAA in both goals (9) and goals per game (1.80). In just five games this season, Bush has matched her season-best in goals.

Bush and the No.5-ranked Huskies return to action on Wednesday, September 17 as they host St. Thomas Aquinas at 4 p.m.
