KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's golf team sits in sixth place after the opening round of the Millersville Fall Invitational hosted at the Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown on Monday.

Senior
Grace Green (Shadyside, Ohio/Shadyside High School) sits in a five-way tie for sixth after the opening round, posting a collegiate-best 80 (+8). The Shadyside, Ohio-native's round featured eight pars and a birdie on the par-4 11th hole.

Kate Pettersen (Alberta, Canada/North Island Distance Education) recorded an 11-over 83 in her collegiate debut and is tied for 19th. The freshman had nine pars on the day.

Sophia Reed (Estero, Fla./Estero) is tied for 37th after posting a 17-over 89 in the opening round.
Emma Lewis (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) is in 42nd after an 18-over 90 while
Emma Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) is 43rd with a 19-over 91.

As a team, the Huskies are sixth at 54-over par, sitting three strokes back of the hosts, Millersville, in fifth place.

The Huskies are back at the Berkleigh Golf Club on Tuesday, September 15 for the second round of the Millersville Fall Invitational.
