LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - After helping Bloomsburg women's soccer to a pair of shutouts while tacking on three points, senior Lindsey Bull (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) was named the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Bull began the week with a career day offensively, recording a goal and an assist in the Huskies' 4-0 win over Lackawanna. The senior scored the opening goal and game-winner for Bloomsburg with a long-range effort from over 25 yards out that found the back of the net. Bull set up the Huskies' next goal with an assist directly from a corner kick to double the team's advantage.

On Saturday, Bloomsburg played to a 0-0 draw on the road against Shepherd. Bull and the Huskies became the first team this season to hold the Rams scoreless in a match. Shepherd entered the game averaging three goals per game in home contests.

Bull's defensive accolade is the third honor in the last four weeks for the Huskies. The senior joins teammates Daryn Savage (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and Cassi Snyder (Hegins, Pa./Tri-Valley) as recipients of the weekly distinction.

The Bloomsburg women's soccer team is back at Steph Pettit Stadium on Wednesday, October 14, at 3:00 p.m. against Mansfield.
