YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio. – It was a historic day for the Bloomsburg women's track and field team as the Huskies broke two school records at the YSU Last Chance Meet on Friday night.

Mikaela Sullivan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) and
Lexi Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) both etched themselves deeper into the history books of Bloomsburg track and field, as the duo both claimed school record.

Just one week after shattering the Huskies' mile record, Tepper broke another school record while placing 3rd in the 800-meter. In her first race in the event for the maroon and gold, the junior ran a 2:15.02 to break Kathryn Blair's 2020 record of 2:15.92. With that result, Tepper now holds the top time in the PSAC in three events: the 800-meter, the mile and the 3,000-meter. Tepper also took seventh in the 3,000-meter with a time of 10:24.97

Sullivan joined in on the record-setting by eclipsing her own record mark in the shot put with a 12.64-meter throw. Â The sophomore finished 14th while beating her own school record by .04 meters.

Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) joined Tepper with a PSAC qualifying time in the 800, placing 21st with a personal-best time of 2:23.11. In the 3,000-meter,
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) placed 8th with a time of 10:25.29 to reach the PSAC qualifying standard.

The Huskies 4x400-meter relay squad of
Lindsey Pelaez (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg), Ikeler, Parise and Stout ran a time of 4:08.13 and sits tenth on the PSAC performance list.

On the track,
Kendra Stout (/) set a pair of personal bests, running at a 7.99 in the 60-meters and a 59.47 in the 400-meter.

Abby Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) ran an 8.95 in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles before taking sixth in the finals with a time of 8.97. Madeline Ikeler placed 12th with a time of 9.34. Ikeler set a PR in the 200-meter, running a 27.43.

In the field, Parise led the pack for the Huskies long jumpers, as the maroon and gold placed three in the top eight. Parise took third with a mark of 5.63 meters (18' 5.75") on her first jump.
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) improved her best mark of the season, taking sixth with a jump of 5.44 meters (17' 10.25").
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) placed eighth with a jump of 5.43 meters (17' 9.75"). Hubler also took sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.18 meters (36' 8.25")

Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) finished ninth in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.56 meters (5'1.25") Her personal-best mark is just .2 meters off the PSAC qualifying standard.

The Huskies compete in one last meet before the PSAC Championships as they head to the Bucknell Tune-Up on Friday, February 20.
