YORK, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team had a strong start to the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships and will have eight swimmers in the finals Wednesday evening.  

The finals for the 50-yard free finals are full of Huskies as both Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western) and Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) qualified for the A finals. Samantha Linsey (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) qualified for the B finals while Olivia Igou (Flourtown, Pa./Springfield Township) and Sidney Beers (DeBois, Pa./DuBois Area) are in the C finals. Cunningham enters the A Finals is seeded second in the 50-free with a time of 23.51 while Holmes is eighth at 23.99. Linsey is seeded third in the B Finals with a time of 24.23. Igou is second in the C Finals with a time of 24.45 and Beers grabbed the last spot in the finals after winning the swim off with a time of 24.54.
 
The 200-IM will feature Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) in the A Finals as she is seeded sixth with a time of 2:08.31. Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) is second in the B Finals with a time of 2:09.76 and Morgan Keefer (Lewisberry, Pa./Northern York) is second in the C Finals with a time of 2:12.02.
 
Headed in the timed finals of the 1000 free, Saryn McCullough (Newark, De./Newark Charter) is sixth with a time of 10:45.80 and Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) is 13^th at 10:56.52. Kaia Griffith (Pottstown, Pa./Spring-Ford) is 22^nd with a time of 11:12.46.
 
The Huskies get back in the pool tonight for the Day One Finals beginning at 5:30 p.m. from the Graham Aquatic Center in York. Pa.
