LEWISBURG, Pa. – Grace Lippincott (State College, Pa./State College Area) and Mikaela Sullivan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) each set a school record to highlight a fantastic day for the Bloomsburg women's indoor track and field team at the Bucknell Tune-Up on Friday night.
 
Lippincott broke a 12-year-old record in the weight throw, taking fourth with a mark of 15.64 meters (51' 3.75"). The junior beat the previous record of 15.48 meters (50' 9.50"), set by Tayler Harkins, by .16 meters. Lippincott now sits fourth on the conference list in the event. Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) shattered her personal best by over half a meter, taking sixth with a throw of 15.10.
 
For the third time this season, Sullivan broke the school record in the shot put. Sullivan shattered her own record with a throw of 12.88 meters (42' 3.25"). The sophomore placed second overall. Laura Dunn (/) placed eight with a mark of 11.65 meters.
 
Alyssa Sullivan placed fourth in the 3,000-meter, running a PSAC qualifying time of 10:35.27.
 
In the long jump, Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) claimed the victory with a season-best jump of 5.51 meters (18' 1"). Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) finished second with a mark of 5.39 meters (17' 8.25") while Lorelei Eberly (Downingtown, Pa./Coatesville Area) placed fifth with a personal-best of 5.14 meters (16' 10.50").
 
Hubler went on to take third in the triple jump with a mark of 11.40 meters (37' 5") while Lindsey Pelaez (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) finished ninth with a jump of 10.61 meters (34' 9.75").
 
In the pole vault Hannah Gerhart (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) took seventh with a personal-best height of 2.95 meters (9' 8").
 
Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) claimed seventh in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.50 meters (4' 11"). Paige Casterline (Bucks County, Pa./Palisades) and Messner tied for ninth with jumps of 1.45 meters (4' 9").
 
On the track, Kendra stout collected a pair of top ten finishes, placing fourth in the 200 meter and sixth in the 60 meter. The 200 saw Stout post a time of 26.15 while she ran an 8.03 in the finals of the 60.
 
In the 60-meter hurdles Madeline Ikeler ran a season-best 9.26 in the prelims before taking fourth in the finals with a 9.36. Courtney O'Hagan (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East) finished ninth with a PR of 10 seconds flat.
 
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) claimed fifth in the mile with a time of 5:15.91.
 
Bloomsburg is back in action on Saturday, February 28 for the opening day of the PSAC Indoor Championships at Lehigh University.
