LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After breaking the school record in the mile,
Alexis Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Tepper shattered the school record in the mile at the Fastrack National Invite on Friday with a time of 4:54.15. The junior's NCAA provisional time beat Teresa Ortiz' 2017 record of 5:00.05 by nearly six seconds.

The Cherry Hill native placed seventh in the event while beating her personal best by three seconds while finishing as the top competitor from Division II.

Tepper sits at the top of the PSAC performance list in the event by over three seconds and ranks 31st nationally.

It is Tepper's first athlete of the week award with the Huskies.

Tepper and the Bloomsburg track & field team is back in action on Friday, February 13 as they head to Youngstown State for the YSU Last Chance Meet.
