BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The full brackets have been released for the 2026 Mid-American Conference Wrestling Championships and the Huskies enter with two pre-seeded wrestlers.

MAC Pre-Seeds
Jace Schafer (Fairport, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) (125 pounds • No. 8) and Mason Rebuck (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) (285 • No. 5) enter the championship as the only two pre-seeded wrestlers. Schafer has an 18-7 record entering the tournament while Rebuck boasts a 19-7 overall record.
 
NCAA DI ALLOCATIONS
The NCAA announced qualifier allocations for the 2026 NCAA Championships and the MAC was awarded 27 total NCAA championship qualifying spots stretched across the 10 weight classes.

Opening Match Previews
125 pounds: Jace Schafer (Fairport, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) will receive a bye in the opening round of the championships. Schafer will take on the winner of the No. 1 Tyler Klinsky (Rider) / Nico Calello (Kent State) match. Schafer fell to Klinsky 8-1 earlier this season and has not seen Calello yet this year.
 
133 pounds: Austin Pollard (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) is 3-1 since joining the Huskies after the semester break and had three bonus point wins for the Huskies. The Stafford, Va. native will face Andrew Austin from Central Michigan in his opening match. Austin is 16-12 on the year and has seven bonus point wins.
 
141 pounds: Richie Woods (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport) is 11-21 this season with five bonus point wins including two falls and two tech falls. Woods will face off against Tyler Roark in the opening round. Earlier this season, Roark defeated Woods 6-0 at Nelson Field House.
 
149 pounds: Alec Baxley (Newark, Del./St. Mark's) is 0-10 this season and will face off against Ryan Michaels of Edinboro in the first round of the championship tournament.
 
157 pounds: William Morrow (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) enters the 2026 championships with a 10-21 overall records and has seven bonus point wins this season. Morrow will take on a familiar foe in Garrett McChesney from Edinboro in the first round. The two squared off three weeks again and McChesney held the slight edge with a hard-fought 5-0 win.
 
165 pounds: Logan Baker () is 2-4 on the season and will take on Alejandro Herrera-Rondon in the first round. Herrera-Rondon is 17-7 entering the tournament and has not seen a Husky wrestler yet this year.
 
174 pounds: Eric Alderfer (Harleysville, Pa./Faith Christian) is 20-5 enter the MAC Championships and will take on Logan Messer in the first round of the tournament. Messer did not face Alderfer in the regular season as the Husky was battling an injury. Messer is 20-6 on the season.

184 pounds: Braidon Woodward (Canisto-Greenwood, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) wrestled most of the year at 165 pounds and has worked to wrestle up at 184 for the MAC Championships. Woodward is 12-13 on the season and 1-2 at 184. Woodward will face Wyatt Ferguson of Central Michigan in the opening round. Ferguson is 8-9 on the year with four bonus point wins.
 
197 pounds: Coy Raines (North Chille, N.Y./Churchville-Chille) is 19-15 on the season with nine bonus point wins going into the MAC Championships. Raines will face Jack Kelly of George Mason in the opening round. Kelly earned a fall at 3:15 over Raines during the regular season and is 13-15 on the season.
 
285: Mason Rebuck (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) enters the MAC Championships with a No. 5 seed and a 19-7 overall record this season. Rebuck will take on the winner of the Aden Roe (Edinboro) and Magnus Bibla (Buffalo) match. Rebuck defeated Roe 4-3 earlier this season but did not square off against Bibla when Buffalo visited Nelson Field House. Bibla enters the tournament 8-6.
