DANVILLE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's golf team extended its win streak to six as
Noemi Krizso (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) picked up her fifth career victory at the Husky Spring Invitational at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Thursday afternoon.

Bloomsburg defended its title at the Husky Invitational as the maroon team posted a winning score of 344 (+56). They finished six strokes ahead of second place Millersville. The gold team placed eighth with a 398 (+110). It is the sixth consecutive win for the women's golf program dating back to the Kutztown Invitational on October 6th.

Krizso picked up her fifth career victory, carding a six-over 78. The junior tallied 11 pars and one birdie en route to winning by one stroke over Shepherd's Sara Veara. Holes 9 to 18 saw the New Windsor, N.Y. native record eight pars and just two bogeys.

Emma Lewis (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) finished the day in eighth as she posted a 15-over 87. The freshman's round featured five pars and a birdie on the par-five 13th.
Sophia Reed (Estero, Fla./Estero) ended the day in a three-way tie for ninth as 16-over par (88). The Estero, Florida native notched back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12.

Nadia Yackanicz (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) placed 14th and rounded out the scoring for the maroon team with a 19-over 91.
Emma Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) posted a 24-over 96 en route to tying for 25th.

Leading the scoring for the gold team,
Kendall Siegle (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) carded a 25-over 97 to tie for 27th.
Kate Pettersen (Okotoks, Alberta/North Shore Academy) finished 29th with a 26-over 98 while
Morgan Gerringer (Danville, Pa./Danville) placed 30th with a 27-over 99.
Gabby Hubbs (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley Bourbonnais Community) tied for 36th with a 104 (+32) while
Kali Koontz (Albion, Ind./Central Noble) recorded a 136 (+64) to tie for 54th.

Bloomsburg returns to action on Sunday, April 12 as they compete in the Kutztown Spring Invitational.
