GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the Bloomsburg women's tennis team were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District ® honorees on Tuesday. The selections for the Huskies include junior
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC), junior
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) and sophomore
Lily Sierka (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bethel Park).
This is Nakonechna's and Seele's second all-district distinction and Sierka's first.
Nakonechna is a psychology major from Spain who earned a 3.99 GPA. She finished the season with an 8-17 singles and a 12-12 doubles record.
Seele is also a psychology major from Mülheim, NRW, Germany who earned a 4.00 GPA. She finished with a 10-9 singles and a 10-12 doubles record as the Huskies' primary player in the No. 2 singles and No. 1 in doubles.
Sierka is a finance major from Pittsburgh, Pa. who earned a 3.83 GPA. She finished with a 16-9 record in singles and doubles.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
