2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class

BLOOMSBURG, Pa.  – The Bloomsburg women's soccer head coach, Matt Haney, announced the 2026 incoming class that features seven newcomers to the program next season.
 
"We are excited to welcome these seven student-athletes to the Bloomsburg Women's Soccer family," said Haney. "This class brings an impressive combination of talent, leadership, and academic achievement. Each player has demonstrated a commitment to excellence both on and off the field, and those qualities were critical throughout the recruiting process."
 
The seven players come to Bloomsburg from three different states. Four players from the incoming class are Pennsylvania native while two are from Delaware and one is from New Jersey.
 
Joining the Huskies this upcoming season is Jordan Andrews, Kelsey Beatie, Whitney Evancho, Niamh Fanning, Kayla Kennelly, Ella Moore, and Meghan Shannon.
 
"They are entering a competitive environment where nothing is guaranteed except the opportunity to compete, and we look forward to watching them contribute to the continued growth of our program," stated Haney.
 
The incoming class joins a Huskies' program that has reach the PSAC tournament in 10 straight seasons. Bloomsburg made the conference tournament with an 7-5-2 record in conference play in 2025 and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after going 10-6-2 in the regular season. 
 
Listed below are brief bios of each member of the incoming class.

2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Jordan Andrews
Jordan Andrews (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood)
Intended Major: Pre-Law

Andrews joins the maroon and gold after a record-setting career at Crestwood High School under head coach Marianna Herrera. A 2025 All-State selection, she earned three All-Conference honors and three Citizens Voice All-Star selections while finishing as the Citizens Voice Player of the Year. Andrews leaves Crestwood as the program's all-time leading scorer with 122 career goals and holds the school's single-season scoring record with 43 goals. As a three-time conference champion, she also excelled in lacrosse, earning All-Conference recognition during three seasons and helping her team to a district championship. Andrew finished her time at Crestwood with 100 goals, 100 ground balls, 100 draw control wins, and 100 points and was a Citizens Voice First Team All-Star. In basketball, Andrews was a two-time district champion and conference champion and was selected as an All-Conference player and Luzerne Country All-Star Team selection. She led her team to two PA State Tournament Final Four appearances. Off the field, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, National Business Honor Society, and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She played club soccer for Northeast United and Cantolao USA under coaches Chris Litzenberger and Hubert Herrera.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Kelsey Beatie
Kelsey Beatie (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink)
Intended Major: Business

Beatie joins the Huskies after compiling one of the more decorated resumes in Delaware high school soccer. Playing for Appoquinimink High School under coach Lance Berry, she earned Delaware State Player of the Year honors twice, was named an All-American twice, and collected four First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference selections. A three-time high school captain and four-time club captain, Beatie consistently demonstrated leadership throughout her career. She competed for Sporting Athletic Club under coach Pete Gangl while also participating in volleyball and basketball. In the classroom, Beatie was a member of the National Honor Society and earned High Honor Roll recognition.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Whitney Evancho
Whitney Evancho (Hockessin, Del./Saint Mark's)
Intended Major: Nursing

Evancho arrives in Bloomsburg after a stellar career for Saint Mark's High School. A four-time First Team All-State and All-Conference selection at Saint Mark's under head coach Dan Swasey, she was named the 2026 Conference Player of the Year and earned Regional All-America honors. Evancho was also selected to the Delaware Top XI and ranked third among players in the state. A leader on and off the field, she served as both her high school and club team captain and represented the Girls Academy League as a panel team representative for three consecutive years. She was also a three-time Mid-Atlantic Talent ID selection. Evancho competed for Sporting Athletic Club under coach Pete Gangl and was active in volleyball while earning honor roll recognition and club leadership honors.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Niamh Fanning
Niamh Fanning (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock)
Intended Major: Nursing

Fanning arrives at Bloomsburg following a decorated career at Susquehannock High School under head coach Kelsey McCullough. A three-time all-star selection in the York-Adams League, she earned First Team honors twice and and once earned Second Team honors. She was named the York-Adams Division II Player of the Year. Fanning was also recognized as a two-time Pennsylvania All-State selection while lettering all four years for the Warriors. A standout student-athlete, she was a member of the National Honor Society and earned Distinguished Honors every semester. Fanning competed for Pipeline 2008 ECNL under coach Alex Shinsky and also participated in track and field during high school.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Kayla Kennelly
Kayla Kennelly (White Haven, Pa./PA Cyber Academy/Weatherly Area)
Intended Major: Political Science

Kennelly joins the Huskies after establishing herself as one of Pennsylvania's premier goalkeepers. Competing for Weatherly Area while attending PA Cyber Academy under head coach Paul Eckert, she became the first All-State soccer player in Weatherly history. Kennelly earned First Team Schuylkill League All-Star honors and was ranked as the league's top goalkeeper. During the 2025 season, she recorded 365 saves, the most in Pennsylvania and the second-most nationally, while also setting Weatherly's single-season saves record and posting the second-highest single-season save total in PSCA history. A member of the National Honor Society, Kennelly played club soccer for NECA FC under coach Mariana Herrera.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Ella Moore
Ella Moore (Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport)
Intended Major: Nursing

Moore brings championship experience to the Huskies after an outstanding career at South Williamsport under coaches Marc Lovecchio and Jane House. A two-time Pennsylvania All-State selection and two-time Sun-Gazette Player of the Year, Moore earned First Team All-Conference honors twice as both a forward and midfielder during her high school career. She helped lead South Williamsport to three consecutive District 4 championships from 2022-24. At the club level, Moore competed for Penn FC under coach Adam Freeman and helped her team capture USYS National Championships in 2022 and 2025. A National Honor Society member and consistent honor roll student, Moore also starred on the basketball court, earning Midd-Penn First Team All-Star and Midd-Penn Honorable Mention recognition.
2026 Women's Soccer Incoming Class - Meghan Shannon
Meghan Shannon (Logan Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional)
Intended Major: Supply Chain Management

Shannon joins the Bloomsburg program after a successful career at Kingsway Regional High School under head coach William Alvero. She helped lead the Dragons to three Tri-County Royal Division championships and earned Second Team All-Conference honors during her career. In the classroom, Shannon was a member of the National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society while maintaining honor roll status. She played club soccer for SJEB FC under coaches John Thompson, Scott Leacott, and Jeff Zoyac.
