COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Field hockey goalkeeper, Molly Bross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge), earns National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Defensive Player of the Week.

The junior earns this honor after leading the Huskies' defense to two consecutive shutout victories on the road. She saved 13 shots across 120 minutes, seven against Southern New Hampshire and six against the then No. 6 ranked Saint Anselm.

In her first week as the starting goalkeeper, Bross now has earned this honor and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week. 

Bross and the Huskies will face Adelphi on Sept. 9 at Steph Pettit Stadium in their home opener at 4 p.m.
