Men's Swim Team Falls to Shippensburg

MEET RESULTS

SHIPPENSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's swim team lost to Shippensburg University on Tuesday by a score of 107.5-97.5.

The Huskies were led by two-time winner John King (Ridley Park/Ridley) (Ridley Park, Ridley) who took first in the 1000-free and the 500-free. In the 1000 he finished in 10:17.55,while in the 500-free he swam a 5:01.91.

Other winners for the Huskies were Juan Castaneda (Shamokin, Shamokin Area) in the 100-fly in 52.76 seconds, the third fastest time in school history, and Tim Dorsch (Schwenksville, Souderton Area) in the 100-breast in 1:02.95.

Freshman Pat Malone (Sewell, N.J., Goucester Catholic) had two second-place finishes for the Huskies. In the 100-free he had a time of 48.82, while in the 200-free he posted a mark of 1:48.93.

Bloomsburg will host Albright College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
