BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team will look to build off its first win of the season last week with a non-conference matchup on its home floor against Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, Nov. 20.  Tipoff at Nelson Field House is set for 7 p.m.

The Huskies (1-1) had three players score 17 or more points as they put together some tough defensive possessions down the stretch to hold off Penn State Hazleton last week, 79-78.

Tuesday marks the fifth meeting between the Huskies and Griffins (2-2).  The teams played twice during the 2009-10 season, and once per season thereafter as they have split the all-time series at 2-2.

In last year's meeting, Larry  Webster tipped in a last second shot to give the Huskies an 87-86 win over the Griffins.  All five Bloomsburg starters finished in double figures in scoring, while Trevon  Johnson recorded a career-high 12 assists.

Freshman point guard Charles Haigler (Charles Town, WV/Hargrave Military Academy) is coming off a career-high, 17-point effort against PSU Hazleton.  He leads the Huskies with nine assists and five steals while averaging 12 points per contest.

Dontahe Jordan (Williamsport/Williamsport) has registered double-doubles in each of BU's opening games this season.  He has grabbed 24 rebounds through two games, 13 of which coming on the offensive end.  He has 15 career double-doubles including 10 during his freshman season in 2010-11.

Junior Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown/Norristown) is Bloomsburg's leading scorer at 16.5 per clip.  He grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against PSU Hazleton and is shooting a team-best 52.4 percent from the floor.

Chestnut Hill is coming off an 86-76 win over Lock Haven at the 2012 Wolf's Bus Line Classic. Senior guards Francis Ashe and Mark DiRugeris Jr. anchored a team effort that had five Griffins finish in double figures and forced 24 Eagles turnovers.  Junior forward Kasheef Festus totaled a game-high 25 points, 14 of them came in the second half.

After Tuesday night's matchup, Bloomsburg will take some time off from competition.  It will return to action a week later as it travels to Lincoln University on Wednesday, Nov. 28 with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m.
