MEET RESULTS
EAST STROUDSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's swim team returned to competition after its winter training trip to Florida by beating East Stroudsburg, 112-93, on Saturday.
Bridget Hilferty (Royersford/Perkiomen Valley) dominated the distance events again sweeping the 1000- and 500-free races. Hilferty won the 1000-free with a time of 10:48.11 and the 500-free in 5:18.84.
Alicia Frey (Ellicot City, MD/Wilde Lake) was second for the Huskies in both events finishing in 10:57.47 in the 1000 and 5:24.27 in the 500.
In the 200-free
Julia DeVincent (Ambler/Upper Dublin) was first in 2:00.46, while in the 200-IM
Kaci McIlmoyle (Landenberg/Avon Grove) was first in 2:13.99.
In the 200-free relay the Huskies team of
Ashley Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley), McIlmoyle
Meghan Gallagher (Aston/Sun Valley) and DeVincent was first in 1:42.39.
The Huskies, 6-4, are back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Crimson Hawk Invitational being hosted by IUP.
