Lock Haven, PA
Saturday, 3:00 p.m.

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Bald Eagles are 1-for-1 in their first season in the PSAC East, winning their first Eastern Division contest on Wednesday over Shippensburg, 78-61. It marked the second straight win for Lock Haven as it defeated NYIT, 62-61, in Nyack, N.Y., last Saturday. Lock Haven is 0-1 on its home floor, however, dropping a 78-76 heartbreaker to Davis & Elkins on Nov. 13. The Bald Eagles finished 2012-13 with a 6-19 record and went 4-18 in their final season in the PSAC West. The two leading scorers from last year's team return in Wali Hepburn (21.3 ppg) and Kasheef Festus (15.4 ppg). Lock Haven was selected 6th in the preseason Eastern Division coaches' poll while Hepburn was selected to the preseason All-PSAC East Team. Dave Garcia, Nate Walters and Elijah Cooper all return after quality minutes last season. Lock Haven will also benefit from the return of Julian Bond, who missed last year after averaging 7.4 points per game in 24 games during the 2011-12 season.

THE BLOOMSBURG-LOCK HAVEN SERIES
Bloomsburg leads, 95-34

The Huskies have dominated the long series between schools and have won the previous two meetings. Lock Haven won the last contest held on its home floor, scoring a 54-51 win on Dec. 4, 2010.

WHEN LAST WE MET
The Huskies and Bald Eagles played a nip-and-tuck affair which went to double overtime before BU pulled out the 106-98 victory on Jan. 11. Bloomsburg led 39-38 at halftime, but the two teams remained tight through the second half. BU led by four with a minute to play, but the Eagles tied things behind Wali Hepburn who sank two free throws with 51 seconds in regulation and then sent the game to overtime laying in the tying score with just eight seconds to play. Hepburn again brought the Eagles back from the brink with his 3-pointer to tie the game again with 23 seconds left in the first OT. Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown/Norristown)' 3-pointer four seconds into the second extra period set the tone for the game's ending as the Huskies ultimately pulled away for the victory.

TO 1,000 AND BEYOND
Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown/Norristown) became the 27th player in Bloomsburg history to score 1,000 points in maroon and gold, reaching the milestone with a pair of free throws to ice Wednesday's win over Millersville. Christmas moved over 1,000 points on his two shots from the line with just eight seconds to play in the Huskies' 83-77 victory. Christmas tallied 281 points as a freshman (11.2 ppg), 268 as a sophomore (9.6 ppg), 385 as a junior (16.0 ppg) and 67 so far this year.

CALL IT A STREAK
Bloomsburg enters Saturday's game with three straight victories – it is the first three-game winning streak for BU since winning four in a row from Jan. 7-14, 2012.

CAREER NIGHT
Moustapha Noumbissi (Upper Darby/Delaware County Christian School) turned in perhaps his finest game with the Huskies in Wednesday's win over Millersville, setting career highs in both points (15) and rebounds (9). His previous career-high of 12 points also came vs. Millersville last year.

RILE'D UP
Transfer guard Jon Riles (Philadelphia/Academy of the New Church) made his first start in a Huskies uniform on Wednesday night and filled the stat sheet. The Philadelphia product finished with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals. Riles, who played the past two years at the University of Tampa and averaged 4.0 assists per game last year, leads the Huskies by handing out 12 assists thus far.
