BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg University men's and women's basketball teams hit the road on Saturday, Feb. 2 and take on Kutztown University at Keystone Arena in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division showdowns with great playoff implications on the line. Tipoff for the women's game is set for 1 p.m., followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on WHLM (930-AM) based out of Bloomsburg with Jim Doyle and Larry White calling all the action. In addition, listeners throughout the world can listen to the game live on BU's website at

WOMEN
MATCH UP: The Huskies (14-4, 10-4 PSAC) are coming off a 43-point win over East Stroudsburg on Wednesday, their largest margin of victory this season. Bloomsburg and Kutztown (11-7, 9-5) rank first and second in the East entering Saturday's game. BU has won the last five matchups against KU and has not lost at Keystone Arena since dropping a 74-67 overtime decision in the PSAC Quarterfinals in the 2009-10 season. It was the only loss this year's senior class suffered to KU, as it hasn't lost a regular season game to KU since a pair of games during the 2008-09 season.
BU'S LAST TIME OUT: Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) scored 20 points to lead Bloomsburg to an 86-43 victory over East Stroudsburg Wednesday evening. For the game the Bloomsburg defense held the Warriors to just 25 percent shooting from the field (11-for-44) and forced 40 turnovers, which led to 41 points. Offensively, the Huskies got scoring from 14 of the 16 players who saw action in the game. Noack tied her season high in points with 20 for Bloomsburg and was the only Huskies player in double figures. Four players,

DEFENSIVE DOMINANCE: Bloomsburg leads the PSAC and ranks 13th in Division II in defensive field goal percentage (.337), and is third in the PSAC in scoring defense (57.8). Kutztown ranks third in defensive field goal percentage (.354), but eighth in scoring (61.8).
SHARE THE WEALTH: BU leads the PSAC and is 10th in Division II with 17.78 assists per game. BU is assisting on 65.57 percent of its total field goals, and has had 10 or more assists in 49 of its last 50 games.
QUICK AS A CAT: Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) has scored in double figures in eight of her last nine games. She's coming off her second 20-point game of the season, the second most on the team behind
Dana Wieller (Bethlehem/Liberty)'s four.
MEN
MATCH UP: The Huskies (5-13, 3-11 PSAC) have dropped two in a row including a nine-point setback to East Stroudsburg Wednesday night. Kutztown (4-16, 3-11) swept the pair of regular season matchups last season including a buzzer-beating layup by Micah Fraction at Keystone Arena to give the Golden Bears a 56-55 win over the Huskies. In the last 10 seasons, KU has won 16 of the 20 matchups, all of which in the regular season, as Bloomsburg has not won at Keystone Arena since Jan. 23, 2002 (70-61). BU's Adam Bohman played 39 minutes and notched a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
BU'S LAST TIME OUT: Bloomsburg fought to the bitter end Wednesday night against nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg, but the Huskies fell to the 20th-ranked Warriors, 77-68.
Zach Sheetz (Landisville/Hempfield) led the team in scoring for the third consecutive game. He dropped 15 points including three three-pointers.
Dontahe Jordan (Williamsport/Williamsport) returned to the lineup after missing six games and scored 14 points off the bench. He also had five rebounds, three steals, and a pair of blocks.
Nasir Jones (Philadelphia/Franklin Learning Center) scored all nine of his points in the first half and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
SHEETZ CAN SHOOT: Zach Sheetz (Landisville/Hempfield) has made a three-pointer in each of his nine games started this season. He is second on the team in three-pointers made (30) and leads the team in three-point percentage (.476). Sheetz is averaging 11 points per game for fourth on the team.
LIGHTS OUT LORENZO: Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown/Norristown) is 12th in the PSAC at 15.2 points per game. Christmas' 2.6 three-pointers per game lead the PSAC, and his 35.1 percent from beyond the arc ranks fifth in the PSAC. He is fourth on the Bloomsburg all-time three-pointers list with 142. He has also made a three-pointer in 25 straight games.
BENCH SCORING: After topping the 20-point mark just two times in its first 10 games, BU has produced 20 or more bench points in seven of its last eight games. BU had a season-high 35 points off the bench against ESU and averages 18.6 points per game off the bench.
