STORYLINE
After taking No. 6 East Stroudsburg to the wire before dropping a 2-1 decision in overtime on Wednesday evening at Sports Stadium, the Huskies seek to even their conference record when they travel to West Chester on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
(Box Score) Bloomsburg became the first team to score against ESU this season, scoring a goal with 18 seconds left in the first half when Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) found the net to end the ESU shutout streak at 404:42 to begin the year. BU dominated the first half, creating several strong scoring opportunities against the top-ranked Warrior defense, and also had a chance on a penalty kick in the 38th minute. ESU kept the deficit at 1-0, however, and the lead held until the 59th minute when ESU's Sammi Jo Hughes scored to tie the game. The Warriors ended the contest on a score from Shea Neal in the 95th minute to win the match. Danielle Fiorelli (Warrington/Villa Joseph Marie) made seven saves in goal for the Huskies.

SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
Perennial PSAC contender West Chester got off to a slow start this fall, starting 1-3 after three straight losses to Kutztown, Mercyhurst and Gannon before shutting out Lock Haven, 1-0, on Wednesday. West Chester reached the PSAC semifinals last year and went 15-5-1 overall including a 10-3-1 mark in the PSAC and eventually reached the national quarterfinals after earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament, ultimately falling to eventual national champion Saint Rose. West Chester was picked to finish first in the PSAC preseason coaches' poll and started the season ranked No. 7 in the preseason national Top 25. Juniors Carly Yost and Cara Deola lead the Rams with two goals apiece while Alex Srolis is the leading goalkeeper with a 2.33 GAA in three starts.

ALL-TIME SERIES
West Chester leads, 15-13-3.

LAST MEETING
(Box Score) West Chester won, 3-0, on Oct. 20, 2012. The Golden Rams scored in the seventh minute for what turned out to be the game-winner and added two late second half scores for insurance. Danielle Fiorelli (Warrington/Villa Joseph Marie) made eight saves for the Huskies.

INJURIES HURT UPSET BID
The Huskies gave visiting East Stroudsburg all it wanted on Wednesday night at Sports Stadium. The Warriors, ranked No. 6 in the nation, had not allowed a goal all season before Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) scored for Bloomsburg 18 seconds before halftime. The Huskies commanded the first half of play despite playing for much of the game without three starters – leading scorer Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland) along with Maureen Leis (Erdenheim/Springfield) both missed the game with injury while a third starter, Julia Rios (Millersville/Penn Manor) was lost with an in-game injury during the first half.

WORKING OVERTIME
Bloomsburg has already had two overtime contests through its first six matches of the year – winning 2-1 in double OT at Chesnut Hill last week before Wednesday's 2-1 loss in overtime to ESU. BU played just two overtime games all of last year, going 0-1-1 in those contests.

UP NEXT
The road trip continues when Bloomsburg travels across the state to play at regionally-ranked Edinboro on Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. in another PSAC contest.
