Wednesday, Jan. 29 - 8:00 p.m.
Millersville, PA (Pucillo Gymnasium)

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team will look to keep its positioning in the PSAC East standings secure when it travels to Millersville on Wednesday night. The Huskies defeated Millersville, 83-77, at Nelson Field House in November.

Bloomsburg aims to bounce back from a 72-61 setback at Kutztown this past Saturday while Millersville defeated Shippensburg, 88-71, and is 7-1 on its home floor this year.

SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
The Marauders have won three of their past four games, including an 88-71 victory over Shippensburg on their home court this past Saturday, also scoring wins at Cheyney (69-65) and vs. Kutztown (77-73) sandwiching a loss at Lock Haven (76-71). Like Bloomsburg, Millersville is no stranger to close games – 11 of its contests thus far have been decided by fewer than 10 points with seven being within three points. Millersville ranks fourth in the conference in scoring (75.6 ppg) while standing 13th in defense (74.7 ppg allowed). Also like Bloomsburg, the Marauders have at times had a tough go of it at the foul line, shooting only 68.7 percent at the charity stripe.

THE BLOOMSBURG-MILLERSVILLE SERIES
Millersville leads 90-89

The Huskies and Marauders meet for the 180th time in the history of the series on Wednesday night with BU seeking a season sweep of their PSAC East rival after picking up an 83-77 victory at Nelson Field House on Nov. 20. On that night, the Huskies raced out to a 46-29 lead at halftime but the Marauders opened the second half on a 10-2 run to get back into the game and ultimately closed to within five (56-51) with 14:05 to play. Bloomsburg counter-punched with an 11-3 run, however, to re-take control. Dontahe Jordan (Williamsport/Williamsport) led the way with 18 points and seven boards while Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown/Norristown) reached 1,000 points for his career with a 17-point effort. The teams split last season's games with each defending home court- Millersville won, 62-49 on Dec. 8 at Pucillo Gymnasium and the Huskies held court at Nelson Field House with a 100-94 triple overtime thriller on Feb. 6, 2013.
