RESULTSBLOOMSBURG—For the first time in school history the Bloomsburg University men's swim team beat Clarion University in a dual meet after the Huskies convincing 143-99 win on Saturday at the Nelson Field House. The win also marked the first time in school history in dual meet competition that the men and women both beat the Golden Eagles after the Huskies 146-115 win on the women's side.

Bloomsburg dominated the day winning nine of the first 10 events before swimming the last two individual events as exhibitions. Posting wins were
Brandon Sherbo (Etters/Red Land) (1650-free);
Alex Otero (Allentown/Parkland) (200-free and 200-breast);
Aaron Cancro (Limerick/Spring-Ford) (100-back);
Ryan Sullivan (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) (100-breast);
Frank Dello Buono (West Chester/West Chester Rustin) (200-fly);
Sam Feiser (Pottstown/OJ Roberts) (50-free);
Josh Grzech (Mountain Top/Crestwood) (100-free); and
Cole Underwood (Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley) (500-free)
The day started with a win in the 200-medley relay with the team of
Aaron Cancro (Limerick/Spring-Ford),
Tyler Gross (Pottstown/Pottsgrove),
Tyler Washington (Doylestown/Central Bucks West) and
Pat Stasio (Horsham/Hatboro Horsham) taking first in 1:37.26.

In the 1650-free Sherbo posted the top time in the PSAC this season with a mark of 16:47.00 winning by more than minute. Sherbo, the school record holder in the event, also posted the eighth fastest time in school history.

The Huskies also posted numerous times good enough to rank in the top five in the PSAC this season. In the 100-breat
Eric Usbeck (Lake Ariel/Wallenpaupack Area) swam a 58.39 to rank third; in the 200-fly Dello Buono is third at 1:57.40; in the 200-breast Otero is third at 2:11.25. In the 400-IM
Jake Harner (Philadelphia/Father Judge) posted the second fastest time in 4:15.31 with teammate
Paul Rocchi (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) notching the fifth best time in 4:20.43. In the 100-fly Cancro is fifth best so far this season at 52.54 seconds.

Bloomsburg will now prepare for its taper meet at the Akron Invitational on Dec. 5-7.
