STORYLINEThe men's swim team will face Gannon on the road on Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. and then travel to Edinboro on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUTThe Huskies fell to West Chester, 168.5-93.5, on Saturday, Nov. 1. Bloomsburg had two individual winners with
Jake Harner taking first in the 100-breaststroke in 57.31 seconds with
A.J. Brady grabbing a first in the 200-back in 1:58.39. Harner also had a second place finish in the 200-IM with a mark of 1:56.61. In the 100-back
Aaron Cancro and Brady finished second and third with Cancro swimming 54.88 and Brady going 55.10. In the distance events senior
Brandon Sherbo took third in both the 500- and 1000-free events. In the 1000 he posted a time of 10:06.79, while in the 500 he went 4:53.67. The Huskies closed out the meet winning the 400-free relay in 3:11.72 with the team of
Alex Otero,
Josh Grzech, Eric Usbeck and
Alex McCullough.

SCOUTING GANNON To open the season, the Golden Knights claimed the team title at the Westminster (Pa.) Relays Friday, Oct. 24.
Cole Davis, Noah Donovan and
Adam Chrzanowski opened the event with a first-place finish (2:38.54) in the 3x100 butterfly relay.
Mike Lawrence, Michael Smith and
Logan Bissell placed first (3:08.35) in the 3x100 breaststroke relay. The team of
Drew Wolter, Ryan Carter,
Denys Fedorchenko and
Terrance Coughran secured first (7:20.18) in the 800-free relay. The team of Davis, Donovan, Carter and Bissell set the relay-meet record in the 400-medley relay with a first-place finish (3:43.36). The Golden Knights' run of first-place honors concluded in the 400-free, as Fedorchenko, Coughran,
Matt Loughner and Chrzanowski placed first (3:15.35).

LAST MEETINGBloomsburg defeated Gannon last year, 252-114.
Jake Harner captured the win in the 100-breast with his mark of 58.60, a PSAC qualifying time.
Bryan Masilotti was also victorious, touching first in the 100-back with a PSAC qualifying time of 55.49.
Brandon Sherbo won the 1000 yard freestyle with his time of 9:51.52. Also meeting the PSAC qualifying standard in the event were
Mark DiLemmo at 10:17.00 and
Chris McPeak at 10:20.07.
Alex Otero gave Bloomsburg the victory in the 200-back with a time of 1:58.58 and was joined in meeting the conference standard by teammates
Aaron Cancro (2:00.22) and Andrew Brady (2:01.24), who took second and third respectively.
Michael Anderson (Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh) captured the 100-free win for the Huskies with a qualifying time of 47.57. In the 400-free relay, the team of Masilotti, Harner, Anderson and
Eric Usbeck won with their time of 3:13.30. In the 800-free, the relay team of Anderson, Otero, Sherbo and
Cole Underwood earned the win at 7:12.58.

SCOUTING EDINBOROThe Fighting Scots defeated visiting Tiffin University by a score of 109-91 in their home opener on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Josh Beabout and
Micah Cattell collected two first-place finishes each to lead Edinboro on the day. The quartet of
Nick Wilkinson,
Luke Frederick,
Justin Ransel and Cattell earned a first place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with a mark of 1:40.91.
Beabout finished first in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:25.63, before earning a first-place finish in the 500-free in 4:55.33.
Cattell posted first-place finishes in the 50-free and 100-free with marks of 22.26 and 48.97, respectively.
Luke Frederick added a first-place finish in the 100-breast with a time of 1:02.68.

LAST MEETINGBloomsburg posted a 141-101 win over Edinboro last season. The Huskies posted 25 PSAC qualifying marks during the meet, including 18 new cut times, in the victory.
Jake Harner  led the way for Bloomsburg with three qualifying times coming in the 100-breast; 200-breast and 50-free. Also,
Alex Otero had two qualifying marks in the 100- and 200-free events, while
Bryan Masilotti posted times in the 50- and 100-free. Â As a team the Huskies won seven of the day's events.
