Bloomsburg (12-8, 8-3 PSAC East) vs. Shippensburg (2-18, 0-10 PSAC East)
Saturday, Feb. 8 - 3:00 p.m.
Nelson Field House

BLOOMSBURG - The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to three games after scoring wins vs. Lock Haven and Cheyney in back-to-back games. The Huskies defeated Shippensburg, 80-61, on Dec. 7 and will be vying for the season sweep of their PSAC East rival.

Bloomsburg continues to stand second in the PSAC East standings at 8-3 in divisional play. The Huskies, who currently hold a head-to-head tie-breaker with 8-3 West Chester, got a little closer to the top spot when No. 3 East Stroudsburg (20-1, 10-1) was upset at Lock Haven on Thursday night.

SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg has been off since last Saturday when it lost to Cheyney, 62-58. That setback marked the ninth straight defeat for the Raiders, who fell to 0-10 in PSAC East play.

The Raiders rank 15th in the PSAC in scoring at 65.6 ppg and 16th in scoring defense, allowing on average 76.4 points to their opposition. Field goal shooting has been a struggle -
Shippensburg shoots only 38.5 percent from the floor for the year, 17th in the conference. The Raiders are also 17th in rebounding margin (-5.0) as well as turnover margin (-2.8).

Sophomore guard Joe Lococo has been a bright spot under first-year head coach Chris Fite, ranking fourth in the PSAC in scoring at 19.4 ppg. The Raiders have played all season without the services of senior center Dylan Edgar, who was selected to the All-PSAC East Preseason Team after finishing last season as Shippensburg's leading scorer and rebounder.

Next up for the Raiders is a home meeting with No. 3 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday before making the trip to West Chester next Saturday.

THE BLOOMSBURG-SHIPPENSBURG SERIES
Bloomsburg leads 103-63

The Huskies won the first meeting of the year, 80-61, at Shippensburg behind 16 points apiece from Alssene Saintilus (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and Wes Lyons (Millville/Millville).
