ABOUT CHEYNEYThe Wolves have scuffled this season and are looking to snap a 16-game losing streak and find their first PSAC victory of the campaign. Cheyney's only win of the year came on Nov. 16, 69-63, vs. St. Augustine's.
Cheyney ranks 15th in the PSAC in offense at just 69.4 points per game and has struggled mightily on the defensive end, ranking last while allowing 82.1 points per contest.
Cheyney often lives on the perimeter - the Wolves lead the PSAC in 3-pointers made (167), despite ranking just 10th in percentage (33.8%). The 494 3-point attempts by the Wolves are also the most in the conference (only Millersville has also attempted 450+ 3's this year).
A bright spot for the Wolves is freshman guard Kevin Larkin, who has taken PSAC East Freshman of the Week honors three times this year while leading the team at 18.0 points per game. Â

Series tied 67-67Bloomsburg evened the all-time series at 67 with a victory, 97-87, in November at Cheyney. That gave the Huskies their fourth straight win over the Wolves with Cheyney's last win in the series coming at home on Jan. 19, 2013, 72-54. In all, the Huskies have won seven of the past 10 games against Cheyney including three straight home wins.
In the last meeting, the Huskies shot 56.6 percent (30-of-53) from the floor behind a game-high 24 points from
Charles Haigler (Charles Town, WV/Hargrave Military Academy).
Alssene Saintilus (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and
Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) each had 18 points apiece and the Huskies drained 11 3-pointers (11-of-17).

UP NEXTThe Huskies hit the road for a key PSAC East battle at Shippensburg. The Raiders are two games ahead currently in the PSAC East standings, but Bloomsburg has a chance for the season sweep.
