Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) had a game to remember by netting a career high 37 points, but it was not enough as the Huskies fell at West Chester, 88-82, on Wednesday night.

> Mortellite went 9-of-13 from the floor, 6-of-9 from 3-pointers and 13-of-15 at the line in just 31 minutes.

ABOUT MANSFIELDMansfield came up with a crucial PSAC East victory, 60-52, over Shippensburg at home on Wednesday night. Mansfield moved into seventh place in the PSAC East, trailing Lock Haven by half a game for the sixth and final playoff spot from the division.
Charles Pemberton tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way with Joe Bell and Thomas Moore each scoring 14 apiece. Head coach Rich Miller moved into second place on Mansfield's all-time wins list with his 128th victory, passing his old coach, Tom Ackerman.
Mansfield enters today's game ranking ninth in the PSAC in scoring at 73.0 points per game and 14th in defense while allowing 75.3 points per contest. Mansfield struggles at the free throw line, averaging just 65.0 percent - only Cheyney is worse at the stripe (63.3 percent). Turnovers have also been an issue at times - Mansfield is 16th in the conference in turnover margin (-1.8).
Mansfield has won its past two games, snapping what was a five-game losing skid with an 84-79 win over Lock Haven in overtime last saturday. Mansfield was led by Joe Bell's 23 points - and that has been a common theme. Bell has over 1,800 points in his MU career including 18 games in double figures this season.
