STORYLINE
Bloomsburg will put an eight-game winning streak on the line this weekend with a four-game series against PSAC East-rival, West Chester. Bloomsburg is tied for second place, with East Stroudsburg, in the divisional standings (7-5) while the Golden Rams (6-6) sit in fourth place, one game behind the Huskies and the Warriors.

West Chester leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg, 61-30.

LAST MEETINGS
West Chester took three of four meetings from Bloomsburg last season. The teams split a twinbill in West Chester on March 29 with the Huskies winning the first game, 5-2, before the Golden Rams took game two by an 11-8 final. In Bloomsburg the following day, West Chester won both by the scores of 4-3 and 22-3.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies last played on Wednesday and had a record-breaking offensive performance en route to a pair of lopsided victories over visiting Philadelphia University. Bloomsburg scored a school-record 17 runs in the sixth inning of game one and blanked the Rams, 21-0. The 17 runs marked the ninth-highest single-inning total in NCAA Division II history. Bloomsburg continued the onsluaght with a 19-9 win in game two. Austin Edgette (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) went 6-for-8 with six runs scored and nine runs batted in during the sweep and is now tied for second in the PSAC with a .458 batting average (49-of-107). He has hit safely in 18 of his last 19 games and is 38-of-68 (.559) during the stretch. Ryan Kirman (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Regional) continues to lead the PSAC in home runs with 14 while sporting a .340 batting average. Joey Casselberry (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton) leads the PSAC in runs batted in with 45 and is batting .398 on the season (17th in the PSAC). Damin Muth (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland) is fifth in the league in home runs (9) and tied for seventh in RBI (38) - both career highs. All told, the Huskies are hitting .332 as a team - fourth in the conference. On the mound, Bloomsburg has a staff ERA of 5.05 - sixth in the league. Among regular starters, Zach Meyer (Muncy Valley, Pa./Sullivan County) has the best ERA at 4.06 (15th in the PSAC) and is 2-2 on the season. Mike Warren (Garnerville, N.Y./St. Joseph Regional) leads the team in wins (4) while Ashton Raines (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) has a team-high three saves and a staff-low 2.35 ERA in 10 appearances. Wyatt Beakler (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) tossed a shutout in game one against Philadelphia on Wednesday - the first by a Bloomsburg pitcher in nearly a calendar year. He is 3-0 with a 3.05 ERA in five appearances (two starts).

SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
The Golden Rams are 16-9 overall and 6-6 in the PSAC East, but are 3-5 in their last eight games overall. West Chester last played on April 2 and split a doubleheader at Kutztown (L 2-1; W 7-1). The Golden Rams are hitting .291 as a team - 14th out of 16 teams in the PSAC. Meanwhile, their staff ERA sits at 5.98 - 11th in the conference. Zach Sheranko is tops on the team with a .392 batting average in 51 at bats. Among players who have played every game, Drew Diehl leads with a .351 average in 97 at bats. He also leads the squad in doubles (8), triples (2), home runs (5), and slugging percentage (.629). Shane Dressler leads the team with 21 runs-batted-in and is second in home runs with four. On the mound, Nick Stallings leads the way with a 2.42 ERA and a 2-2 record. He has struck out 26 batters in 26 innings and has held opponents to a .213 batting average. Mike O'Neill leads the PSAC with seven saves but has a 6.66 ERA on the season.
